WOYWW 159

Morning lovely crafters and dear WOYWW friends. Another sunny morning here in Yorkshire. We have been so lucky this week although I think today is the last day, more rain tomorrow!!!! Oh well, mustn't be greedy.

Here is my desk today, a bit of a bomb site really. Our DD is on her school residential this week in Northumberland so we are having a really quiet time but my desk has the remnants of the packing on it as well as the things I need to make some more ATC's in return for all the lovely ones I've received.
Here they are in all their glory.

Going round clockwise from the top thank you to
Jozarty
Sandra
LLJ for her living ATC which has already been scattered in the garden
and Sam.

I've been really touched by your kindness even though I was absent from the birthday bash and I know there are others on their way, hence the need to make some more.

Before I go I thought I'd just share my finished Triptych from last week. I've faffed and fiddled but I think it's done now.

I've tried to be brief, Julia, very difficult for someone who talks too much. If you want to join in this wonderful world of WOYWW, pop over to see our Desk Headmistress, HERE.

I'm gadding out to the local garden nursery with my Mum in a few minutes so I'll be back to nosy around your desks later.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your lovely comments and very kind wishes. I do appreciate you all so much.

Hi Lisa, thanks so much for your beautiful atc, which I wasn't expecting as mine was intended as a draw not a swap... but lovely to receive a return from you. The wisteria is exquisite and the subtle glitz really enhances it.
Love Jo x
A gorgeous triptych this week from you too. Bet the house has a void with DD being away!

Your gorgeous ATC arrived after I'd posted this morning so it was too late to shot it - I shall rectify that next week :) It is really beautiful and I treasure them all. Glad you liked yours too, may they bloom profusely.
Where has your daughter gone, bet it's somewhere like Bamburgh or Druridge Bay. I lived up there for 12 years so it's a place dear to my heart!
Hope you're well on the mend after your op now - speak soon,
Love, LLJ #72 xx

Hey Lisa. Nice to see your desk is busy as I presume this means you are feeling better. No desk from me today as I didn't get back from London until very late last night after my wonderful weekend. Feeling tired and spoilt!

Hi Lisa, that looks a very busy desk this week!

Mmm... we are seeing very little sun this week, brief glimpses - I know what rain looks like though!!
It's too wet for the garden and the weeds keep a-growing!!

Hope you are well

Ohhh Lisa what a gorgeous triptych (I can't even say or spell it!!) and it is lovely to see the ATC's you have received so far. Mine is postal and I do hope you like it. The class with TH was great and my DH reaction to my posting a pic was funny. I will have to see if I can photoshop his face on TH body to keep him happy.

Hi Lisa, thanks for dropping by and yes, those Summer DIs are lovely - bet you give in a and buy soon.
Beautiful tryptich on your desk - colours are just right, and although it didn't rain much yesterday it hasn't stopped over the Pennines today, my garden has a moat round it.

Hi Lisa, sorry I’m so late in getting to you this week. It’s seems to take longer and longer each week, plus I’ve been busy too hence me only just visiting.

Your Triptych has turned out beautifully and the colours are stunning. Can’t say I’ve ever heard of them before but it’s something I’m going to have to add to my ‘must try’ list.

Happy Crafting!

Have fun seeing the Olympic torch... it is a great memory for F! Sadly we missed it as we were in Brighton and the Brigton leg was after or before our visit.

Oh Lisa, I cant be brief, but youre doing well...it's to avoid the once a week catchup type posts that i recommend brief...but i dont mean wordless!! Your trptych is really lovely, bet youre pleased. Wonder how much youll get done in your quiet week...i used to find it very disconcerting!
