WOYWW 266

Morning lovely crafters and dear WOYWW friends. If you want to share your desk with a bunch of lovely people too then pop over to see Julia, HERE.

This is getting to be a habit but I have no desk to share with you today.....more samples in progress that I can't share yet. The dining table where I do my pleasure crafting just contains a pile of boxes where I've been re-organising my Project Life stuff and is not interesting at all so instead I thought I'd share my Tour De France pictures from the weekend as I know there are several cycling fans amongst you...Shaz you know who you are.

I've never seen so many people out, they were 5 and 6 deep but luckily we found a good wall to stand on.

Loads of people were dressed up.

We managed to get a few freebies as the Caravane went by

And then in a flash the cyclists came along to huge cheers

and went whizzing by and were gone.

It was an fantastic day, well a weekend really as we watched it on the TV both days and recorded it so that we could watch it back and yes....we did see ourselves!!!! Yorkshire looked stunning and the crowds every where were amazing. It was an event we are not going to forget in a hurry.

Right, I'll be round to see what you've been up to after work so see you later and Happy Crafting.

Good morning, I'm doing a quick whizz round all my favourite blogs before I start my mammoth task of clearning some of my sewing mountain today.
It was so lovely to watch the race and your pictures show you had a fab time soaking up the atmosphere :-)

Fabulous pics. Keagan has been watching TDF on tv as he loves it. I only take an interest once it arrives in Paris for the final day. Only because I love Paris and love pointing out the roads I've crossed and pavements I've stood on as they go by! Lovely to see you here! Take care Zo xx 29

We enjoyed watching the tour too - at the Woodhead Pass - GD got some goodies but sadly…….not on TV…... they cut to a break as the cyclists had just come off Holme Moss and obviously wasn't as interesting where we were - exciting for us though! Where did you watch? Chris47

Love your pics, especially the man with the yellow mowhawk and woman up the ladder. Your town looks so beautiful. Love all the greenery. Next time can you sneak in a selfie and quietly tell me so that I can find you in the crowd??

Ah Lisa you are really fab.... great work on the photography. The shot of Sky is team is great... so sad when Froome had to retire last night when was watching it the weather was so bad with rain he had two falls in quick succession. They (commentators) think the fall previous day he might have broken his wrist so couldn't control bike properly. Loving it, getting tired from sitting up late... last night was riveting watching. Tape it when get too tired and watch next day. Did get gardening done today but sadly no crafting except brayered two sheets maybe used on card.... thanks again Lisa... so wish had been there cheering with you. Yorkshire did you all proud!!!! :)
