Well, after rain and dullness yesterday the sun is back out but the wind is really chilly. It's definitely sun to enjoy behind glass.
The other thing I have noticed is that we live very near to Leeds Bradford airport and I don't notice the steady stream of planes going in and out normally, but I have certainly noticed their absence, it's soooo quiet, I almost miss them, how strange is that? I am thinking of you if you have friends or family stranded anywhere around the world at the minute.
I have been playing with my Graphicus Key stamps again, I just love them at the minute. It was my Sister and BIL's 13th Wedding Anniversary on Monday and this is the card I made for them.
The key was stamped with archival black and clear embossed and then coloured with my new promarkers. I added some gems for a bit of bling. The edge of the topper and card was stamped with the top part of one of the keyholes and the greeting was from Dawn Bibby.
I never have any excuse to forget their anniversary because I met my Hubby at their Wedding so it is also our Anniversary of sorts too. He was the Best man and I was a Bridesmaid and we got married 18 months later when the roles were reversed as my Sister was my Bridesmaid and her Husband the Best man, talk about keeping it in the family!!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Tuesday has gone well.

Hi Lisa
A lovely card, the blues of the key look so rich.
My hubby an I were saying exactly the same about planes last evening, it's ony when they are not there that you miss them. We don't get a lot, but a few Hercs going into the airbase and they drone really loud when they go over.

That is a lovely 'key' Lisa. I always love the way that you do things - you don't just stamp something, you go beyond that and do something so original. Wonderful!
We see lots of vapour trails over our way as we are on the tip of the UK and there are none - does seem odd even for us! My daughter in Houston has her friend and her daughter stranded there! Jill x
Stunning card! I think you are becoming an expert with those promarkers already! We don't tend to notice the planes, but the absence of vapour trails is very noticeable here. Lovely story about meeting your hubby x
Fabulous card - love it
What a lovely sweet story of how you met your husband.
I love the addition of the bling on the key a really lovely finishing touch.
The Graphicus keys are lovely I agree Lisa and I love what you've done with this one.
Thanks for sharing the double 'love' story with us too.
We've also had that really cold wind today and to cap it all, no heating as we have a pipe leak in the loft, Brrrr!
Hugs

Hi Lisa,
This is brilliant, and the blue looks fab.
I hadn't really thought about it until you said, but yes, it is much quieter here too without the planes.
What a lovely story about how you met your hubby.

Love this card Lisa - the key stamp is fabulous and I love the decorative edges on the topper. I guess your sister's anniversary must be a very special day for you and your hubby too.
Sorry I had to dash off before I finished my e-mail - will be in touch soon.
Love and hugs, Sylvia xxxx
What a fabulous bkey Lisa and a lovely story. I do love a bit of romance....Cheers Claire x
I just treated myself to this one too Lisa (and far too many others!) Cant wait to use it noe I've seen your amazing card. We're on the flight path and usually see a plane every 2 minutes fly past my bedroom window and have definately noticed their absence.

Hey Lisa - it sounds as if we have been experiencing the same sort of weather as the sun has been shining here too but the wind has had quite a chill to it! It is supposed to be warming up here at the weekend though!! (By the way we are currently having our boiler re-located so for the last 2 days/nights we have had no hot water or heating - bbbrrrrrrr!!)
Great card!!
