Sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks, various things have meant Wednesdays have disappeared before I realised. I thought going back to work would bring some routine but it seems to have thrown it all out and I never know what day it is. Maybe that's just my age!!
Anyway, not much happening on my desk today.
Some sprayed journal pages that were left to dry and haven't got any further. I think I ran out of mojo but I've lots of lock down photos I want to record so maybe they will get a bit further later today.
I've still been making masks. I even had to go out and buy more fabric, although it's nice that you can do that now. This looks like it'll be ongoing the more people get used to wearing them and are going out more. It's nice to be doing my bit!!
With the sewing machine out all the time I've finished the top of my lockdown quilt made with all the scraps left from the masks.
Well that's me this week, not much to show I'm afraid but I shall enjoy popping round to see what you've all been up to.
If you want to join in this lovely meander around peoples desks, then pop over to WOYWW headquarters to see what it's all about.
Take care and Happy Crafting!

That lockdown quit is beautiful and you've made me guilty for binning my scraps, but I know myself well and admire your tenacity and patience, two things that I sadly lack!! I don't know where the days are going either or the time, before I know it, it seems to be 4pm every day, no matter how busy (or not) I've been! Hope work has been going ok for you,
Hugs LLJ 6 xxxx
If not knowing what day it is relates to age then I'm the same but I think it's just the world we're living in at the moment. The quilt looks lovely and I hope you're right that more people will wear masks as there are still some who don't seem to even realise there is a virus. Have a lovely and productive WOYWW, Angela x15x
Wow, the quilt is beautiful and I especially love the little dashes of lime green - always a favourite colour of mine. Good for you making so many masks - they are going to be needed well into the forseeable I'm sure.
Hope you have a good week,

Wow Lisa - the quilt is fab! I told Jan she should be saving all her scraps for just that sort of project - wonderful. xx Jo
Hi Lisa, I agree I think we have to learn to live with this virus for a long time yet, I just wish more people would stop acting as though it's all gone away!Great job with the quilt, a lovely idea to use up scraps. Stay safe, have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 X
Wow love the quilt its amazing and that they are left over bits from masks you have made. What a story it will tell. Have a great week . Soojay #19
Whaddyamean nothing much on your desk? How much can a gal do!! That lockdown quilt is lovely, were you aware that all your fabrics match the one before? I really hope that people do get used to wearing masks, its definitely a thing...they need to become trendy! Sorry about your routine, one does expect work to force routine on you, but hey, you’re a flexible woman! Mind you, being reactive can be exhausting, so do take some down time too!
what a great way to use the leftover scraps! it looks beautiful.. I hope more people do start to wear masks out and about, you see so many who don't even in confined spaces . Helen #2
Hi Lisa. The quilt is lovely - well done. More mask making - everyone is doing it...
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

I do so love the idea of the mask scraps for a quilt. What a wonderful thing to look back on in years to come, hopefully when we've forgotten some of the bad bits. Have a wonderful week, Lisa-Jane #16
I love your lockdown quilt! So pretty, and nice to know you are using up all your scraps too. I don't have any problem knowing what day of the week it is, lockdown or no lockdown, because although I'm home all the time, I have a strict routine and know what happens on each day! Call me super-organised, but it's the only way I can make sure I get everything done. Otherwise I'd just lie about on the recliner watching TV all day!!!
Thank you for your visit, and I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing our garden. Our next-door neighbour is a very keen gardener and I enjoy seeing her garden from the bedroom window! She got us the first lot of bedding plants when she visited a local garden centre that remained open throughout, and then my hubby found a big cart full of them at Sainsbury's and he stocked up there. He also started some seeds but they didn't work.
We had a nice trip out yesterday and I've spent most of today in the kitchen preparing for tomorrow! I think I'm pretty much ready now - just a few last minute things to do before we set off for our 3 hour drive tomorrow. So glad you liked my purple outfit! I got my hubby to photograph me in front of the buddleia because it was the same colour! It seems that we are now going to have to confine our singing to the shower, doesn't it. What a shame. I was really looking forward to singing some hymns on Sunday!
Happy WOYWW,

Your lockdown quilt is fabulous you'll always remember the when, where & how's it was created under, wish I had room to keep my machine out all the time.
Each day does seem to merge into the next, i'm lucky I have a carer's routine so certain days I NEED to remember. Happy WoywW Tracey #12
I know what you mean about going back to work and routine Lisa. I did nothing after my first three days back full time. Getting back into it now though. Beautiful quilt! Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #1
i like the idea of the quilt made out of left over masks! It looks lovely!

Ohhh, I love the idea of making a quilt out of the 'left over mask fabrics' - some 'memory-blanket' that is! In the Netherlands, we only have to wear masks in public transport and on all other occasions, keep a 1.5 meter distance - something everyone seems to 'forget' 'cause it's crowdy as before the crisis. Pretty scary to go to a shop or into town, so I stay at home as much as possible still... Thanks for your visit to my blog, have a great week dear one, stay safe! Big hug from the Netherlands! Very late but wanted to say hello and thanks for visiting.
You seem to have achieved quite a bit! Sorry you've experienced similar to me. Take care. Anne X 25
