Morning lovely WOYWW friends. Sorry I've been missing for the last two weeks. I fully intended to join in last week but got involved in Wimbledon and the day was done before I realised it. Still only two more weeks to go before we break up for the summer hols so I will have no excuse to be with you every week then!!.
So here's my desk as of yesterday afternoon.
Notice that rare thing shining through the window, we haven't seen much of it lately. A changeable summer the weatherman called it!!
I have been having a lovely time experimenting with lots of new things lately and those weird looking things standing to attention are a jar and bottle that have had the Powertex treatment. I was plucking up courage to put some colour on them, which I did first thing this morning and this is how the bottle has turned out.
Not too bad for a first attempt but I've learnt loads doing this one and have lots of ideas for future projects now.
I've also had a canvas on the go inspired by an article in this month's Craft Stamper magazine where the pieces of wood you get with canvases were turned into beach huts. I have loads of these stashed away so was delighted to find a use for them. My dear hubby cut me some roof pieces for them and this is it finished.
Well, that's me this week. If you want to share your desk too, then pop over HERE and get snooping, it's great fun.
I shall be round to see what you've all been up to after work so enjoy your Wednesday and Happy Crafting!

I don't get Craft Stamper but am sure I could work out how to use those bits of wood that I never know what to do with. Now where might I have put them ...
I love beach huts full stop and yours look so inviting that I might just have to dip my toe in the sea and try something. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love the bottle really must try some of that Powertex soon. Is it difficult to use?
Hugs, Neet 10 xx

Super bottle, not sure what powertex is but it has worked out lovely. Super canvas as well, again not familiar with the wooden bits you get but you have made great use of them. Thanks for visiting me and my sunflower BJ #39
All gorgeous, love your beach huts and great progress with the Powertex. I have been using this for about two years now and just love it. I have a few samples on my blog if you're interested and you can find them here: http://angelacuttingandcarving.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Powertex

Love the bottle I'm itching to play with some powertex. Stunning canvas too. Cara x
Absolutely love your little canvas and how clever to use those bits for the beach huts. I think we all have a few of the leftover and stashed in drawers. The bottle looks interesting and It will be interesting to see how you go on future projects. Always fun to experiment with different techniques.
cheers
