WOYWW 344

Happy New Year dear WOYWW friends. I hope it's a good one for you with good health & happiness all round.

We've had a bit of a bumpy start to 2016 but fingers crossed it gets better.

I have managed a bit of crafting this week in between getting back to normal.

I needed a new project for my Craft Club ladies on Thursday and found some lovely birdhouse gift boxes on Pinterest so have been making one up so that I can then show them. This was taken last night on the dining table, hence the Christmas table cloth and before you ask, no I hadn't drunk the wine, although it has now gone back in the fridge to be finished off later tonight!! You can just spot the remains of the Christmas cake and my scarf dumped unceremoniously after getting in from work.

Well, that's me this week. If you want to share what you've been up to on your desk with us then pop over to see the lovely Julia, HERE.

I might be a bit late getting round to you this week, but bare with me, I will get there.

Enjoy your Wednesday and Happy Crafting.

Hi Lisa. I've spent the last two days going round clearing surfaces of things that got dumped during the festive period but as yet I've now managed to find where my Mojo is hiding.
Really hope we can all have lots of creative fun time in 2016.
Hugs,

Pretty paper there for the box, Lisa. Trust it all turns out well for your group. Yummy looking Christmas cake remains - we didn't get round to one at all this year - too much else going on. I can't even eat it now, being allergic to fruit - boo hoo. I used to love it - so it's good to see a photo and imagine it!! Thank you.
Take care. God bless.

Oh I just love Pinterest for inspiration! I bet those birdhouses will be so cute. Well...sigh...here in America, the first episode of the last season of Downton just aired on Sunday, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I loved it!! I can't wait for this season to unfold, but I'm also so sad. I'm sure I'll just end up watching it from the beginning when it's over. Happy WOYWW - and thanks for visiting mine. Sandy Leigh #41

Oh, I do hope that you'll share a photograph (or two) of the finished project! I've had that birdhouse on my Pinterest 'To-Do' list for *so* long, I need a bit of motivation to try it out!

Hope that the rest of 2016 treats you well.

I had planned to visit sooner, but right after I linked to Julia, my electricity went off. It came back on a short time ago, so now I'm trying to catch up with everyone.

It took me forever to find that cake, because I was looking for something a bit more like a cake! I do think the birdhouse box is going to be lovely, though. Happy WOYWW from #1.

I had to take my Christmas cake to another house...or I'd have eaten the lot. I'm ridiculously addicted! Very impressed at the will power over wine and cake Lisa! Nice that you've found something to do with the ladies, hope it didn't take too long to kit up!

Hi Lisa, a late reply from me as I have just got back from holidays. Hope you and your family were not severely impacted by the flooding in Yorkshire. Crazy weather all over the world.... we have had floods and bushfires in our country areas. The little bird cage looks very sweet. I seem to lose so much time looking at Pinterest. Hope to get some craft happening on my desk for next week.
cheers
