WOYWW 342

Morning dear WOYWW friends. I hope your Christmas preparations are going well and you are all looking forward to the big Ho Ho!!!
Sorry I've been missing for the last couple of weeks. It's been hectic and we suddenly had a poorly kitty cat, who has now sadly left us and all too soon. He was only 7. We have planted a rose in the garden to remember him and have been lavishing lots of love on his forlorn Mum.

Well, on to happier things. Here's my desk as of yesterday tea time. We should have been icing cakes, doing shopping and cleaning the house, but no, we had a crafty afternoon instead and it was lovely.

DD and I spent the afternoon playing with Brushos. I had a birthday card to make for a friend who celebrates on Xmas day and I always make sure I make her something special. As you can probably spot, we had a helper although she doesn't seem very interested does she?

Well, short and sweet this week so if you want to share your desk with us then pop over to see the lovely Julia, HERE.

All that remains is to wish you all a very Happy Christmas. I hope it's good one and Santa brings you all the things that you wish for and here's to a Happy, Healthy and Crafty 2016. Thank you for all the fun and friendship you have shared over the last year. Deskers really are "the best".

Good morning. Really sorry to hear about your cat.
I'm doing a quick whizz round all my fav blogs before hitting the supermarket for the last minute shop.
I would just like to wish you a very happy Christmas and hope that 2016 comes with all you wish for yourself.
Big hugs,

Oh, I'm so sorry about your puss cat...seven is too young :-(. They leave a blooming big hole in your life, don't they?
Your Brusho backgrounds look fun...I've seen a lot about them on the desks, it looks like good fun and very messy!!
Hope you and the family have a wonderful and very Merry Christmas! It's my last band gig tonight and then I can relax! And do a bit more of that jigsaw :-). You're very welcome to pop around to help and have a mince pie and drink too!!
Hugs, LLJ 11 xxxx

Hi Lisa, sorry to hear about your kitty. I am guessing that's his mum on the desk but doesn't look like she is being very helpful.
I must get my Brushos out again.
It's a funny thing about Brushos because I have used them for many years with my pupils for all kinds of techniques mostly with fabrics and I had boxes of them packed away then suddenly they came on the market and everyone's using them. Have a great Christmas and a Happy Crafty New Year, Angela x 21

What a lovely card and I love the bluey green background - I need to practice with Brushos, I find them unpredictable to say the least! I was so sorry to hear about your cat, 7 is very young. Despite the sadness I hope you enjoy the Christmas holiday, and thank you so much for stopping by my blog earlier.

I have that stamp ... the little girl & balloon one and I LOVE Brushos so you have just inspired me Lisa! Really sorry to hear about your pussy cat ... we know only too well the pain of losing our precious pets. Sniff that rose extra hard when it flowers next summer and remember kitty with nothing but love. Happy WOYWW'ing and a very Merry Christmas to you! Love Debbie #29 xXx

Just in case you hadn't heard Sam (Hettie) Mum died last Friday so if she hasn't been around you'll no why.
Hope you have a fabulous Christmas and very best wished for 2016.

Lovely pic of the kitty with attitude and so nice to hear you were able to spend time with DD crafting. Your beautiful card arrived today (christmas eve) and thank you for the tea. Yay!!! real "yorkshire" tea which I will have first thing on Xmas morning. Wishing you and your family a wonderful christmas and new year.

I'm running behind, but that's what I've done for the past two weeks. The three of us (Bleubeard, Squiggles, and I) are saddened by your loss. Your kitty was too young and my heart goes out to you.

I actually stopped by to wish you a merry, safe Christmas, filled with good health, happiness, and love. I hope the pain from your loss lessens over time. Happy WOYWW and happy holidays from Bleubeard, Squiggles, and #2 (that's me).
