WOYWW 338

Morning dear WOYWW friends. Can you believe that it's Wednesday again? I shall be all confused this week as I'm working different days so excuse me if I'm slow visiting you but I will get there!!

Anyway, here is my desk this morning.

I decided last night whilst Hubby was watching his nightly dose of Star Trek....don't ask....that I'd go and have a play in my craft room but I didn't want to start anything messy so decided to do some colouring with my pencils, something I need some practise at. This then lead to organising my pencil tins into colour order and then I decided to do colour swatches for each tin, so not much colouring got done but I enjoyed myself immensely. Probably says a lot doesn't it?  Talk about OCD!!!!

I did do a bit of colouring and have done a bit more this morning but now I need to go to work!!!

You can also spot my guilty pleasure, I love Country music and it's always my choice of listening when crafting. I sing very loudly, not pretty! What music do you listen too?

Last week some of you spotted some painted hearts I had on my desk. Well, they've found themselves on cards now and here is the result.

I was just about to post this and looked out of the window and wow, just look at the sunrise this morning!

So, that's me this week. If you want to share your desk with the world then pop over to see the lovely Julia, HERE.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.

Enjoy your Wednesday and Happy Crafting!!

Lovely colouring going on! I've had trouble with my Derwent pencils for not having good pinks... looks like you have the whole array imaginable!
When I concentrate on something, I barely hear anything that goes on around me, so music would just be wasted in my craft space... happy woyww, thanks for stopping by :)

Country music, huh? Do you have the cowboy boots and stetson as well?!
And we'd both being rearranging our pencils if I came to play...I'm as bad as you are obviously and completely understand how you got distracted, lol!
I'm glad your bag has had its first outing and passed the test - may there be many more :-)

Ha Lisa, thats just the sort of procrastinating that I end up doing. except its probably not as productive! I listen to talking books mostly, but the music is the stuff that my family wont enjoy with me..Leonard Cohen and Adele and the like!

Your colouring is BEAUTIFUL! I love that rose too - did you paint it? My mum was a big county fan so I know most of the words to all the old ones. I have an eclectic taste myself and also sing along at the top of my voice ( hubby goes mad!) :) Have a great week. xx Soojay 14

Your Colouring is Beautiful! Did you also paint the roses on the heart? So pretty. My mum was a big country fan and listened when she was ironing. I know most of the words to all the old ones.My music is a bit eclectic and I sing at the top of my voice as well( much to hubby's horror!) . Have a great week xx Soojay 14

Laughing out loud think about you singing at the top of your voice! I listen to Pandora, have several stations I choose from depending on my mood; Celtic, classical, soft rock. Soon it will be Christmas music. Glad you are enjoying the coloring, even with the distractions. I think that happens to all of us though. Diane #24

Those pencils look lush - I've got loads of coloured pencils but never use them. I just love having them! Beautiful sunrise - I think I slept through it this morning, though usually I'm an early riser. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #29

Your painted heart card is gorgeous! As to music, I'm very eclectic... 50's & 60's Rock 'n Roll, George Strait and the older country, a variety of Gospel, some Big Band like Glenn Miller. Anyway, thanks for stopping by! Happy WOYWW!

I don't know how many times crafting has turned into organising here also. It's my way of procrastinating without guilt, after all it's good to tidy, isn't it? Love the photo of your amazing sunrise - one similar featured on BBC's morning weather report, it wasn't yours, was it? Hope your week is good despite the changes to your shift. Elizabeth x #31

At least you will know where the colours are now - I started to do something the other day that turned into a tidy up instead! Love your card! I was told about the sunrise - I am usually up but slept really badly and stayed in bed for a while longer!! Chris36

Gorgeous colouring. I understand the Star Treck thing as 'Him Indoors' likes it too. I think there were some old Star Treck films on recently. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy crafting,

Hi Lisa
Your colouring in looks fabulous! And it's a great stamp too! Those pencils look nice. Are they regular pencils? or watercolour ones?
Thanks for your kind comments earlier, much appreciated.
I also spend far too long "organising" things, although it never seems to result in anything being tidier.
Oh, and that sunrise pic is fabulous!!

When I buy a new pencil tin, organizing it to my liking is the first thing I do! I love the colored flower! I love to listen to music. My favorite is metal music especially nightwish, amaranth, avatar, ...

Hi Lisa, thanks for stopping b y on Wednesday unlike me who runs around like a demented chicken and comments on Friday. Now if you can colour that gorgeous flower on your desk you can paint! You just add water:} I don't listen to music while I craft.... it is just deadly quiet with the occasional cat meow, kids yelling, husband yelling back and me mumbling "wish they would all keep quiet". Have a lovely week.

Glad I'm not the only one who reorganised their pencils. When I got all the tins of SN pencils I hated them being out of order and colours not together so I put my in number order. Makes it easier doesn't it?! Take care Zo xx 33

Totally missed this post, love that flower that looks an interesting stamp, lovely card and a great sunrise, your were either up early or going to be very very late.

I like country music but at the moment I like listening to 80's music as that was when the girls really got into music. I get a bit sick of the 60's music.
