Morning dear WOYWW friends. I hope I find you well this Wednesday. What an exciting Wednesday it is too, being the 6th Anniversary of this wonderful place that is WOYWW. Thank you Julia for making it all possible. I have met some amazing friends on our weekly desk ramble. ATC swap week too. Some of mine are already winging their way overseas already but the others will be sent out today. If anyone else wants to swap with me then please don't hesitate to get in touch at lisamello@sky.com with your snail mail addy.
Well, the weather has been so glorious here in The Craft Garden this week that I have no indoor desk to show, instead there are two outdoor ones.
This one shows the most important things when I'm pottering outside, my gardening gloves, fab new ones that actually fit, are comfy and best still are so thick they should stop my hands getting dirty for a good few years. Love the colour too. And...my cuppa in my favourite mug.
And my second desk....It's half term this week and my DD got a set of watercolour paints for her birthday recently, so we have been having a play together in the sunshine with the help of youtube!!! I am a complete novice and often admire other attempts around the desks each week but by just taking baby steps I have completed my first picture. It's very simple but at least you can tell what it is, so I'm happy with it.
Well, that's me this week so if you you want to share what you've got on your desk then pop over to see the lovely Julia, HERE.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!

Has it been nice in Yorkshire? I've had nothing but rain ever since I came to the UK. Should have gone to Yorkshire.....
Well done you for doing that water colour! I have never tried. But I'd love to. Which YouTube tutorial did you look at? There are so many.
I’m still travelling but managed to have internet today so I’m visiting as many of you as I can. Happy anniversary all! Six years is quite a long time.
Have a good week and CU Wednesday

Color me impressed with that watercolor painting. I would be over the moon if it was made by me.
I love your desks today. The gloves look like they would keep blisters from forming, like I get when I work in the garden.
Happy, happy 6th WOYWW anniversary from #1.
I wear gloves for everything. The older I get the more ridiculously precious I'm getting about my hands, cant bear them to be muddy and filthy, it's so drying! (What a diva!) Love that you and DD have made time to experiment together, what a great chunk of quality time. Water colouring always knocks me out and your picture is no exception at all!
Well I can't believe this post, not that many miles apart and I have no idea about the lovely weather you are talking about, still heating on, wild, dull and dismal. Must move to your area (know where but thought better not say)
Great pictures and a great watercolour.

Enjoy the painting- it's looking good so far! Glad you've been able to get out into the garden during half term. Helen 7
I love your watercolour painting! I find it hard to work with watercolours myself too... I prefer acrylics but still try watercolours from time to time. Enjoy the garden, I wish you a lot of sunshine! Thanks for your visit to my blog earlier. Happy woyww, happy 6th anniversary and a hug from Holland! Marit #43
Hello Lisa, what a lovely spot you have in the garden and those blooms are gorgeous. Love the idea of you and DD starting to watercolour and what a fabulous result. Guess what I did exactly the same you tube lesson and have a similar picture. Welll done. So many wonderful things to learn on you tube. My ATC is on its way and a big thank you for your lovely comments and little email chats over the year. Have a lovely week.

Gorgeous photos and painting! Thanks for visiting already. Take care Zo xx 47
The painting looks LOVELY, and sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet and have a go before you know if you LIKE it, and if you are GOOD at it. It;s always worth having a bash. Looks like you do have a talent for it. I've tried - I don't :)
Happy belated 6th-anniversary WOYWW!
