WOYWW 301

Morning lovely WOYWW friends, it's great to be back amongst you although I was sad to miss the 300th edition last week, what a milestone.

Here's my desk this morning, a WIP.

My lovely hubby treated me to this MDF cabinet recently and I am really enjoying decorating it. I've even broken into my favourite Heartfelt Creations paper pad which, up until now, has just been for stoking not using, you know the sort.

I'm taking my time with it and just enjoying crafting for myself, not something I do very often.

Well that's me, short and sweet today. I'll be round later to see what you've all been up to whilst I've been away.

If you want to share your desk with some lovely folk, then just pop over to see our Desk Headmistress, Julia, HERE.

Happy Crafting!

Happy Wednesday. I'm doing my visits of all my fav blogs while my twinnie munchkins play with the knex 😃
I really love what you're making. It seems we have both braved it and are using the stroking stash 😃😃

Oooh, little drawers...I'm a sucker for them! I would give my eye teeth for a set of apothecary's drawers, you know the sort, the ones with Arsenic and the like printed on the front, lol! Your's are going to be lovely...and well done for taking your time over it. I'm terrible for jumping into projects feet first. And as for reading instructions....Ha! Ain't ever going to happen :-D

Looks lovely Lisa, it's nice when you don't have to rush to finish something. I love to take my time with projects, maybe stop and do somthing else or test out a technique. Thanks for the visit and have a great week, Angela x 31

That's just why I like scrap booking..I can buy lovely stuff, use it...and keep it! I do like the paper you've chosen, totally get it..and that little unit is lovely..you're going to be one chuffed crafter when you've finished it!

Ohhh this looks like it is going to be a stunning project. Yes, I am another crafter who keeps papers because they are to pretty to use and you find the perfect project. Can't wait to see how it all comes together. What a nice hubby:)

Oh you lucky girl, you have a handy husband! (Mine is a computer nerd, which is also handy but not when it comes to 'tasks' in the house or making nice cabinets...) I do have papers myself that I 'safe' for special projects - I guess all paper-crafters have that! Oh and you really should go and play with your gelli plate - monotyping is such fun! I handmade my gelliplates with gelatine powder for years now, but my hubby (and I) got tired of having that big plate in the fridge all the time so I gave in and bought me a 'real' gelliplate. Haven't used it yet but I'm looking forward to play with it real soon! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #50

A wonderful project, Lisa! The papers are gorgeous. Half the fun of projects like this is the taking your time making. I have been working on an ikea mirror for about 6 months now, lol!

What a gorgeous little cabinet! I love the paper you are using for it. Yes, I totally know what you mean by papers that are for stroking (I assume that's what you meant). I have a few of those. I think we all have....
Thank you for visiting earlier in the week and for your kind comment.
Sorry I'm so late with this but the house we were staying in in Italy didn't have internet. My son does but we were not able to go to his house as the village was/probably still is completely snowed in. Wednesday morning I went to a coffee bar that had wifi and posted my little contribution.
I'm now back home and catching up on stuff, downloading (baby) photos and keeping the washing machine going.
Have a great week,
Lisca
