A New Challenge At The Stampman-Tim's Tags Inspiration

Afternoon lovely Bloggers from a very dismal Yorkshire. We had amazing sunshine yesterday but today it's just grey and drizzly. No one day is ever the same at the minute is it?

It's time for a new challenge over at The Stampman and this week the lovely Brenda has asked us to be inspired by one of Tim's Christmas tags to produce anything we fancy, it can be a tag, card, altered project or anything else your creative juices can come up with. There are plenty of them so you should find something to inspire you.

I was inspired by this tag

but didn't want to make it Christmassy so went for Autumn colours instead.

I covered my tag with old music paper and then inked it with distress inks, using one of Tim's decorative edge dies as a mask. The Funky Flower was painted with Starburst Stains and Cosmic Shimmer mists. I cut it out and covered it with glossy accents.

Unfortunately I don't own a single one of Tim's metal embellishments so had to make my own by triple embossing with silver embossing powder. They are a bit rough round the edges and I would have preferred to use the proper thing, but hey ho, that's life.

Don't forget to have a look at what the rest of the Design Team have created, they are stunning.

As always we have a £10 voucher on offer for the winner to spend at The Stampman's brand new website and there are plenty of lovely goodies on there to tempt you.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend whatever you are up too.

Wow Lisa, you are so inventive! I am not a fan of making tags, though I do a few, but they are nowhere near as good as that!!

Hope you are ok and the weather is alright your way. It's blowy here but not too cold. Garden, needs some weeding but I am still tending cucumbers in the greenhouse!

Have a good weekend whatever you are doing - I have 2 crops, one Saturday and one Sunday!

Love your take on this Lisa. I have made so many Christmas things and yet I am still all of a buzz about it!!! But, it is lovely to make other things & I have a few things that I just can't share yet!

Gorgeous tag that you have made and clever of your to make your own embellishments. Hope the weather improves!! A little contrast to Yorkshire ... We are in the midst of 26 celsius, kids off to the beach. But wait it is only spring and we still have to cope with summer and the humidity. That is when I would love to be in Yorkshire.

I love these FABULOUS tags ~ just stunning!

Hope you and your family are well and had a lovely weekend. It's been a chilly one in London today but at least the awful fog has now lifted. I think you can finally say Winter is on it's way!!
Take care my lovely friend!
