Another Sheena Peak

Afternoon lovely Crafters. Another week has sped by and it's Friday again. It'll be Christmas in a blink of an eye at this rate.

I just popped in to give you another Sheena sample to tempt you with these lovely stamps.

With this card I used three different plates to create a typical Lakeland scene using just distress inks for that soft light. The tree was embossed with Bark and Olive WOW embossing powders and cut out before being stuck on. You could emboss straight onto the card if you feel brave enough. I didn't with this and find cutting out quite therapeutic really.

Don't forget to watch Sheena's programmes on Create and Craft on Sunday. There's bound to be lots of inky techniques occurring.

Sorry to be brief today, there's lots happening in The Craft Garden at the minute and time is pressing.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Just loving that card Lisa. I have got quite a few WOW powders as Tracy is a demonstrator for them so I have been 'infused'!! They are gorgeous. Certainly great stamps!
Hope that you have a good weekend. Jill x

What a beautiful scene, Lisa, it really is just like the Lake District alongside one of the lakes. You have created it so sensitively.

Oooh, another beautiful scenic card Lisa. Funny what we are most comfy with isn't it. I would be much more confident of making a decent job of stamping and embossing than I would cutting out that delicately, lol!

The way you've placed the tree and the scene itself reminds me of a photo I took on a touring holiday in America a couple of years ago.

Hi Lisa, just been admiring your SD sample cards, and not for the first time. I reccorded Sheena's programmes and have just caught up and spotted all of them. My particular favourite sepia boat scene - gorgeous. I think that's a stamp I need :) Elizabeth x

All your Sheena dt pieces are stunning and the stampman night dt piece is amazing, I thought it was a real clock. I'm in the middle of doing a clock for my dad and have bought the sizzix clock to use. Kezzy x
