Time.... For More Snow!

Happy Sunday again and for those of you under a white blanket again, stay warm!!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the curtains this morning, another good covering of the white stuff. After the last few glorious days it was a real surprise. Although yesterday was sooo cold. We had beautiful, crystal blue skies here but went 12 miles down the road and ran into thick fog and the car thermometer said -3oC. How funny that the weather can be so different in such a few short miles.

This week's theme over at Tuesday Taggers is "Time." Something I think we all probably wish we had more of, I know I do. A few more hours in the day would be perfect.

I've been loving doing tags again at the minute so forgive me for another one. I will do something different for next time I promise. I've combined a clock with my love of Dandelion clocks too. I don't own any clock stamps, something that will have to be put right, so I printed this clock face from the internet and stuck it on the tag and then inked over it to look a bit like the moon.

The background was done with various colourbox pigment inks and the stamp is a Bella Panel from Stamptivity stamped in Brilliance graphite black. I always have trouble getting a dense black image with these stamps so touched up with a bit of the ink afterwards and I've noticed the image looks a bit patchy. Something to get right next time.

A few stickles were added to the stars and some foliage from the same stamp set around the edge to finish things off.

Thanks for stopping by and if it's back to school tomorrow after half term, I hope it's not too bad. We have one more day to go. A Training Day has been tagged on.

That is one stunning tag, Lisa! As you know I bought a set of those stamps and have had a similar problem with them. My best results have been with versafine. I love this though. The images are perfect for our time theme! Thank you so much for sharing with us at TT this week x

ps your snow pic is lovely, and thank goodness it didn't snow like that yesterday!

Brilliant tag, Lisa. Very imaginative. Sorry I haven't had chance to comment on your other posts this week. I'm just starting to catch up after my week away.

Snow here too this morning, but it soon started to thaw & now it's sunny, but more snow is forecast for tomorrow. I'm longing for some warmer weather. x

I too was very unimpressed to find a world of white outside my window but am pleased to see it melting fast. The trains need no excuses for delays at the minute!!

Gorgeous tag, fabulous image.

Beautiful tag, Lisa....just love the dimension....

And the snow you had is lovely to see....I just heard that we are in for approx 12" more of the white stuff later this evening....guess I will have no excuse to not get something creative accomplished as I won't be leaving my front door!

So glad you stopped by the Open Window!

What a stunning tag Lisa - I'm steadily learning this technique and I can't get the black to look solid or even - yours looks fab by comparison. I'm enjoying the learning process though. The snows melted a little here but it'll be treacherous if it freezes tonight! Take care.

That's such a clever idea for your tag Lisa. I love it! I find any image that has fairly big solid areas difficult to stamp especially in black. I still haven't found an inkpad I'm totally happy with.
