WOYWW 565

Morning gentle deskers and Happy 1st of April. I hope I find you well, staying safe and getting used to this strange life we are leading now.

Here's my desk this morning.

It's now become my work desk in the morning as Hubby is at home too for part of the week and is using the dining table so I've retreated to my craft room. Although school is still open, there are only about 3 children in each day so the office has been closed and our office manager and I are both working from home. I'm looking after our website. The parents are sending photos of what the children are up to during their home learning so I am putting them onto the website everyday so that they can see each other. It's a lovely job to have. I'm enjoying it.

The days are going by well and I've only managed one afternoon of crafting so far. We've tried making some bread and have caught up on a few jobs and I was in the garden last week in that lovely weather.

I did manage to finish my mop up piece I was working on the other week though. Here he is.

My secret weakness are the AALL and Create stamps. I just love them and intend to really have a play with them during this lockdown.

Just to give you a smile today here's our cat, Tibby chasing bumblebees in the garden and also enjoying sitting in the back of my t-towel drawer in the kitchen. Why do they do this?

Well that's me today. Don't forget to share your desk with us over at WOYWW headquarters.

Take care and Happy Crafting!

Re Tibby: If I Fits, I Sits! Lol, mine were the same, no carrier bag was safe. I'm pleased that you're managing to keep sane between work, gardening and crafting - me too, the lovely weather has really helped hasn't it? Is Freya back with you or is she still at Uni?
Keep safe and well,

Hi Lisa, laughing at Tibby here! Cats do get into the silliest places, don't they? We used to have a cat that would chase and collect butterflies to bring indoors! Stay safe and have a good week,Hugs, Shaz #7 X

What gorgeous colouring your cat has, and they all like hidey holes don't they. Mine has a favourite, from which he is banned, of the inside of the box diva in the spare bedroom so he has had to find others.
Thanks for sharing

I am a fan of ALL and Create stamps too ( some different ones on my desk today) - i also purchased the dealt of the day yesterday on Hochanda - oppps.
We have only had a handful of pupils in school , so I am at home although being in charge of behaviour - there's not much for me to do . Love you finished work and hope you get more chance to create soon.Take care and Keep safe Soojay#21

Hi Lisa, I can definitely relate to the Aall & Create obsession, fabulous make with the hipster guy.. isn't he magnificent. Sweet little kittie, we used to have a cat called Tibby too and so did my Grandparents. That's a mighty fine tea towel draw you have there. Stay safe & keep creative & thanks for sharing WoywW Tracey #25

Those are great stamps and so much fun to play with. I'm quite surprised how few children are actually going to school as so many parents work in Key jobs but maybe parents are feeling that they are safer at home. Our animals have no idea what's going on and are carrying on as normal as your kitty proves. Take care and have a lovely woyww and a happy creative week, Angela x18x

Hello Lisa, lovely to see that you are able to set up your workspace from home. Posting photos of the children is a great idea and will keep their spirits up if they can see each other. You have a very sweet kitty... perhaps sitting in the towel drawer is her version of social distancing.LOL. My kitty has been keeping to herself quite a bit, as she adjusts to having DH and myself at home all the time. She wishes we would stop interrupting her nap. Stay safe and keep crafting the amazing projects. Ohhh we have run out of Yorkshire tea and I have to drink Twinings only one left on the shelf.... the sacrifice we have to make in this crazy time.

Wow Lisa, great job with the mop up piece! It’s awesome. Glad your days are going by OK..I’m so far out of the school loop, but think that putting the learners on the website is a fab idea. Not just shared ideas, bu to show each other that they’re all doing something - helps to motivate the reluctant! I am a reluctant gardener, but I like it to be tidy, so have made the most of th sun where I can - but oh boy some days the wind has been really mean!

Your mop up piece is fantastic, I love the blue flowers - they are so eyecatching and the guy is so cool too. The cat's made me laugh - I love the expression on his face - he doesn't look very pleased at being photographed!
Hope you have a good week and stay safe and well.

That sounds lovely, posting what the children are doing at home! I think everyone is taking good advantage of the Internet to keep networking with each other and keeping up the morale during the lockdown. Love your gorgeous kitty - they love to be "in" things, don't they! They will even lie in a coil of cable on the carpet! My hubby and I think it's because they like boundaries around them.

Keep safe and well, and happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Lisa, I am wondering if that is a purple lap top or something else, beautiful colour. I think cats like to investigate anything that looks like a box :) It is a strange life at the moment, my daughter dropped some shopping off and I so wanted to give her a hug :( We blew each kisses instead and she did bring me flowers, so I am truly blessed x Angela #22

Hi Lisa, happy belated WOYWW. Thanks for stopping by my blog. It takes me a good two evenings to get round everyone usually, seems even longer since I've been working from home. I love what you are doing with the photographs for the school children. I hope my grandchildren's school is doing something similar - the boys are missing their friends like crazy. Gorgeous flowers on your mop up piece. I'm trying my best to be good with crafty purchases this year. I have so many stamps and dies I haven't used yet - but then someone brings out a new one, and I know I need it, and the rest is history. Have a lovely week and stay safe Heather xx #33

That is pretty cool posting what the children are doing to the website.
Your card is amazing! Our cat used to do things like Tibby. Always in spots she shouldn't be. What a hoot!
Thanks for popping by. I'm still catching up, too!

Thanks for your return visit, Lisa. Yes, I think the kitties look adorable cuddled up together too - so much so that I can never resist photographing them like that! Someone said they have no idea about social distancing!! So glad you enjoyed the garden photos. We love that red plant as well and always enjoy the splash of colour when not much else is out. If I remember next week, I'll be giving the answers to all the birds in the quiz!

It certainly sounds as if you have a lovely job on at the moment - and a worthwhile one too. bet the mums appreciate what you are doing. Like Jan said, it's a good time in history to be on lockdown. Technology really has come into force for so many of us.
Love AALL & Create stamps myself but haven't been using them of late - must get them out again but I have so much going on in my head and nothing coming from my fingers. Love what you have done!
As for cats, well, they do seem to love the strangest of places.
Stay safe and well
Hugs, Neet 2 xx

Hello, Lisa! I hope you are well today. You thought you were late visiting me well hear I am still making my rounds. I kind of like spreading it out over a few days so that I can truly enjoy the snooping. The image you colored is lovely. Your cats are so funny. I wonder why the tea towel drawer is such a hot spot? They know you need some comic relief. We are doing well in my home for now but I am sure there will be some bumps along the way. Stay well, my friend!

Fun post Lisa, glad you're enjoying shut in think most crafters are sorry am late. Love puss, but must confess don't like cat down road. Buried 3 birds in three months, scattering of feathers around indicates cat. One had head eaten. Unbelievable and sad.. sorry to end on sad note. Have seen him stalking them but not at act so don't feel I can say anything. Ah well.. can oray so do. God cares about birds too.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and all you love, and keep you well in uncertain times. In God we trust.
