WOYWW 419

Morning lovely WOYWW friends from a sunny Yorkshire. I hope I find you well today.

Here's my desk this morning.

I haven't had a lot of time this week so have been playing in my room in little chunks so a bit of journalling seemed like a good idea. I have no plan and am just adding bits each time I go in so who knows how it will end up. I also find some pots of sprays and glitter paint I didn't know I had so those are out there to be tried out.

We were fed up being cooped up by the rain last Saturday afternoon so had a lovely visit to a local National Trust property, East Riddlesden Hall, which is only 20 minutes away.

It was so peaceful and a real delight. You wouldn't believe it's in the middle of a housing estate near Keighley would you?

Here's that round window from inside.

The day was finished off with a cream tea....perfect.

Well, that's me today. If you want to share your desk with us, then pop over to see Julia and join in with WOYWW

Enjoy your Wednesday and Happy Crafting!

Hi Lisa....I'm chuckling at you finding stash you'd forgotten you had bought....I bet we all have some of those. They come as a pleasant surprise don't they....but fancy buying them without the need to use them.hehehe.

No, I find it hard to believe that it is in the middle of a housing estate! Will look it up! I sometimes work like that too - a few layers at a time - or even just a few brush strokes - if I can leave my stuff out for a few days. Happy crafting! zsuzsa #28

Thanks for the lovely comments about Harry, Lisa, I hadn't realised they'd made such an impression on Freya. He had a pretty good life for a half feral rescue cat..it's very odd without him though. Am loving your pretty desk today, you always do such lovely crafting :-)

Hi Lisa,

I like your journal spread - please share as you progress!! I can't wait to see what the next step will be.

Love the photos of your day out. The architecture is so amazing. I love the round window.

Hmmm, cream tea - what is that? At any rate, I think I'd rather like one!

Happy WOYWW

Not just me that ahem, rediscovers things then! Great that your journal allows you to spend a few minutes being creative when you can. That NT property looks lovely, I do miss not having the variety of properties here as I did in Wiltshire and visiting them regularly through the year.

Thank goodness we have NT cards. This sounds good and is now on our wish list - and not far to travel either. As for finding stash you didn't know you had - I was amazed at just what I found when I was moving myk craft room out. Phew! Some stuff I don't know what it is for!!
Enjoy your journalling.
Hugs & Thanks for the visit - Neet 7 xx

Yes with the weather cold, wet and windy you would be house bound this past week. I think you need a bigger desk. The colours on the pages look gorgeous. Hope your garden didn't suffer with all the strong winds.
