WOYWW 333

Morning dear WOYWW friends. I hope you are well this damp Wednesday morning.I so enjoyed being back amongst you all last week that I think I visited every desk (almost) last week which has to be a first for me. I aim to continue the good work this week.

So, here is my desk yesterday afternoon, it hasn't changed since.

Please excuse the toothbrush charging!!!! I have been playing with some Christmas ideas but haven't got very far as I'm now back to some DT work so it's a case of "hold that idea" until I can get back to it. I love that Christmas paper, it's so nice it's hard to cut into.

Just to give you another view, this is the view from where I sit at my desk. This cabinet contains all my loose 12x12 paper but as you can see there is much more piled on top including my bin, can you spot a theme here.

Lastly, Jan shared a beautiful photo of her Kaffir Lillies last week, which are one of my favourite flowers at this time of year. They flower forever. As well as the red ones, I have these beautiful pale pink ones.

And while I was out with my camera yesterday afternoon I snapped these beauties especially for Sandra who has been painting violets. I discovered the little perennial violas this year. These have flowered their heads off non stop since I bought them in March and their scent is amazing. I hope to add to my collection next year.

Well that's me this week. If you want to share your crafty space, then pop over to see the lovely Julia, HERE.

Have a lovely Wednesday and Happy Crafting.

Hello Lisa, love those violas and I think I might have to try and paint the pretty little yellow one. Gorgeous Kaffir Lilly, I don't think I have seen one as soft and delicate as yours. I still have pretty papers that I just can't cut because they are so pretty and then before you know it you have a huge collection. So maybe the theme is collecting pretty papers. Lovely to see you back this week... the weeks fly by so quickly I feel it was only yesterday that I was still visiting woyww desks. Have a lovely week.

ah saw your blog on my sidebar and had to come over Lisa.. wow some lovely flowers at the end of your post.. adore the pastel viola with the mauve edge.. how special!
Mm can relate to "hold that idea"..

.. why is the thing you want to work on is mostly not the thing you need to work on??
..or is that just me being ornery?
Thanks so much for sharing.

I haven't seen that pale pink Kaffir lily before - it's very elegant, isn't it. The red is more in-your-face!
I'm liking that Christmas paper, it's given me an idea actually. The teacher I used to work with has asked me to decorate a room in school as the Grotto for the Christmas Fair. She wants it to be an all white affair but I could do some trees like that...hmmmmm. Lightbulb moment :-)

Hi Lisa, gorgeous flowers. It's difficult when you're working on more than one project (and aren't we always doing that) to keep things tidy and that's the law Lol! Have a great woyww and happy crafting, Angela x 24

Thank goodness that someone has a workspace as crowded as mine.
Gorgeous flowers and lucky to have such beauties at this time of year, a lot of my Summer flowers are still hanging on but not for much longer I think.
Hope all is well with you. take care.

I NEED that paper. Who's is it? Not bought any C paper for ages on account I had too much but I have been very good and used lots so I could justify buying more!
Now why is your toothbrush so close to ink and glitter? I know you might want sparkly teeth but I think this might be bit extreme!!
Hugs

Thanks for your comment on my blog yesterday. You don't seem like a 'messy crafter' to me at all... I can see some of your workspace surface and I just learned from another crafter that if you can still see your desk just a bit, it is not messy ;) Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #13

Hi Lisa,
Yay for visiting all desks last week. I used to try very hard to visit everyone and found I was stressing myself over it. That's when I decided to at least visit those that visit me and those that end in the same number as me. That's worked out well. Then I go from there!

Your blooms are beautiful! Here winter has finally arrived and we'll be getting freezing temperatures real soon.

Happy belated WOYWW,
Thank you for visiting me already!
Hugs, Kay (38)

Great desk this this week. I do love that Christmas paper but can tell it looks difficult to cut. I think we all have stacks to loose paper. I need to be better about getting it put away as often I find it gets wrinkled sitting out. Love that Kaffir Lily. I did Google it for further investigation. Thank you for the visit earlier this week.
