WOYWW 332

Hello dear WOYWW friends. Yes, I know, it's been an age again. I didn't realise how long until I started receiving emails from desker friends checking if I was still here. I have been having a little break from my DT duties and have been enjoying playing in my garden and just crafting for myself so I've been loathed to waste my precious time on the computer and believe me I can lose hours when I log on!!!!!!! Does that make sense?

Anyway, you came by to see a desk and a desk you shall have.

I took this yesterday afternoon. I've got a couple of requests for cards that I needed to get done and I have been giving my cuttlebug a thorough work out. I don't know what I'd do without my trusty 'bug! I'm in the middle of a baby card here and this is how it turned out.

Just to show you how small my crafty space is and how full it is, I turned round and took a photo of the space looking the other way.

One day I will disappear under it all when all the piles piled on top of other piles all topple over...it's only a matter of time. One day I will have a revamp and try to improve the storage I have. The daft thing is I know where everything is.

Well, that's me this week. I look forward to seeing what you've all been up too while I've been away.

If you want to share your desk with a lot of like minded people, then pop over to see the Desk Headmistress, the lovely, Julia, HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Oh, I love that little Girl card, it's soooo pretty! The textures are very clever and that little stamp in the middle is just right :-)
It's good to see you back and I understand about not being on the computer because it does suck you in, if you're not careful. That's why I only blog once a week, truth be told. Your desk is looking very impressive!! Where is your room to work though...? ;-)

Hi Lisa, happy WOYWW. A really lovely baby card, I have a couple I need to make too... and yes my 'bug' has had a bit of work this week and I love it too. You have a 'cozy' work area and if you know where everything is - I think it's working fine. Cheers enjoy your week RobynO#25

Hi Lisa. It's good to see you joining in the fun today. Life just gets in the way of blogging at times doesn't it? As long as life is good and you are managing crafty fun then that's fine ;-)
Have a great week.

Hello! I love your little space and I totally understand that you know where everything is, I'm the same. Organised chaos? That's what they say I believe. Such a sweet card too. I used to have a bug but found turning the handle hard so now I've got a Ebosser so it does it for me!! Take care Zo xx 32

Hi Lisa. Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Yes, all the new stuff is so tempting. Tim Holtz at 40% -50% off is my biggest downfall.Only way I can afford him. LOL So when the % sign goes up, out comes the checkbook. ;-)

That baby card is so sweet! As to the 'topple'.. I can't work in 'stacks' That would drive me bonkers. With such a small space, have you thought about The Scrap Rack system? I love mine... and I have way more space than you hehe

Oh your piles are wonderful, and I love your cute card and your cute little cuttlebug! I think the verdict is that everyone thinks my tea is too milky. LOL! But I'm telling you, it was delish. Gave me indigestion though, so I obviously don't need to keep drinking it that way. Have a lovely week! Thanks for the visit. Sandy Leigh #37

I thought about you last week and thought surely she can't be still out in the garden in this weather but looks like I was wrong, you must be really dedicated.
Great card and love the desk and the piles of stuff, glad to see that it is not only me.
Hope you are well.

Hello lovely to see you back in the land of woyww. Gorgeous card you have made with your trusty cuttlebug. Mine so rarely comes out that I had to take a pic last week. Thanks for the lovely comments about my pear and lily painting. The online workshop offered by the two artists are free.... give it a go. Anna Mason and Billy Showell both UK botanical artists and they offer great tutorials. Lovely to hear you have been outside just enjoying yourself in the garden and crafting. The internet can be both a friend and foe... in my case it can be such a time waster. I have all my supplies behind a cupboard door and it is a big cupboard! Have a lovely week.

Hi LIsa, lovely to see you back. I thought I had already posted ... better late then never. Very cute card and your cuttlebug looks like it has settled in on the desk. Mine only comes out occasionally :( Thanks so much for the lovely comments and I highly recommend the free online tutorials offered by Anna Mason and Billy Showell both UK botanical artists. Doing their free tute is why my painting looks reasonable. enjoy the week.

Do not re-vamp! If it suits you, leave it as it is. You may wanna close the door so that those who don't get it don't worry for your sanity, but I truly say - if it aint broke, don't fix it! Love the card, and delighted to see your desk again.

Hi Lisax! Your baby girl card is adorable!! Aren't Cuttlebugs the perfect invention! Although I must admit it's been ages since I've used mine but I really don't want to get rid of it, along with all my dies and embossing folders.

Thank you for visiting me already!

Happy WOYWW
Hugs,
Kay

The Cuttlebug sure is useful, isn't it? You've made a lovely card there!
I also know where everything is, unless I put "special" things in "safe" places, which I have done lately! Naturally, I couldn't find them when I wanted them :(
Thanks for dropping by and have a nice week,
RosA
