WOYWW 303

Afternoon lovely WOYWW friends. Here I am again back amongst all you lovely deskers. It's really hard to get much bloggery time at the moment. I'm looking after my Mum following her shoulder joint replacement and it's a 6 week recuperation period when she can't really use it, so, with work I'm getting little free time at the moment, but having just enjoyed a quick potter in the greenhouse I thought I'd get a quick post done to say hello.

Here's my desk today, not much changed since the last time I was here. My little set of drawers are a little further on... I said I was taking my time.

As the weather is turning more springlike I've been spending much more time out in the garden so this is my other desk today.

I've been sowing some seeds and sorting out all the things that have been overwintering.

Just before I go I wanted to show you what I made for both my lovely Mums for Mother's Day instead of a card this year. The blank MDF base came from Anna Marie Designs and I had a great time altering it.

I feel blessed to have them both in our lives and don't tell them often enough.

Right that's me this week. If you want to share your desk with a group of like minded folk, then pop over to see the lovely Julia, HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

WOYWW 301

Morning lovely WOYWW friends, it's great to be back amongst you although I was sad to miss the 300th edition last week, what a milestone.

Here's my desk this morning, a WIP.

My lovely hubby treated me to this MDF cabinet recently and I am really enjoying decorating it. I've even broken into my favourite Heartfelt Creations paper pad which, up until now, has just been for stoking not using, you know the sort.

I'm taking my time with it and just enjoying crafting for myself, not something I do very often.

Well that's me, short and sweet today. I'll be round later to see what you've all been up to whilst I've been away.

If you want to share your desk with some lovely folk, then just pop over to see our Desk Headmistress, Julia, HERE.

Happy Crafting!

Sheena's One Day Wonder

Afternoon lovely crafting friends. I hadn't realised I'd neglected my blog for so long. Life has become somewhat hectic over the last few weeks but, fingers crossed, it might be calming down a bit now so I hope to be a more regular blogger.

Anyway, I'm just popping by today to let you know that the very talented Sheena Douglass is back on Create and Craft this Thursday, March 12th with a One Day Wonder starting at 8am which includes some gorgeous embossing folders that partner the stamps and dies launched at the CHA along with some new stamps that are all pet related. I absolutely love these.

Here is a sneaky peek at a couple of the cards I made using both the folders and stamps.

I kept this one simple, colouring the dog with Spectrum noirs and picking out the detail on the folder with distress inks and spectrum pens.

Again the cat is coloured with spectrum noirs and everything else is distress inks.

Our cats have been enjoying the gorgeous spring like weather today. The sky has been as blue as on my card too. I just hope we get a bit more of it soon, it's great to be able to get out in the garden again.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!.
