WOYWW 183

Morning lovely crafters and dear WOYWW friends from a chilly but bright West Yorkshire. Another Wednesday flies by so that must mean another chance to visit lots of wonderful desks. If you haven't yet discovered the wonders of WOYWW then give yourself an early Christmas present and go and visit our Desk Headmistress, Julia, HERE and find out what you're missing.

This is my desk as of last night as it's empty at the minute as we've just had breakfast. I've abandoned my craft room for now as it's a bit cold and also full of secret Santa stuff if you get my drift!!!! so I'm back to the dining table.

I'm in the middle of prepping for another workshop next week. We are making a Christmas wreath from paper flowers so my Cuttlebug has gone into overdrive.

I'm afraid there's not much more to see this week. My new pots of Pebeo Prisme paints are waiting to be played with in the background. I have lots of ideas for some Christmas presents using them, but apart from that I cleared up earlier so it's all looking pretty uninteresting.

Short and sweet again as I need to come and see what you are all up too.

Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy and Crafty Wednesday.

I'm spending most of my time in my craft room at the moment as it's much warmer than downstairs. After living in a detached bungalow where it didn't make much difference I'm really enjoying the fact that heat rises and only two walls are exposed the the cold. It's never cold up here even with no heating on.
Enjoy your day.

Nothing wrong with using the dining table when needed. I think I have a similar TH die cut (you can't go wrong) and once the cuttle bug is out I tend to just die cut every scrap of paper just to make good use of it!!

Hi Lisa. Love the idea of making a wreath of flowers - any chance of some instructions!! Your desk always looks fascinating! Hope you haven't been hit by the snow, it's a lovely sunny day here but the ground is so wet I am reluctant to tread on the grass or soil!! Oh well back to the quilting then!! Jill x

Hello there! Would love to see the Wreath finished. The papers you are using look GORGEOUS!
I was thinking of moving in the dining room but to be honest it is just too much work. I have though managed to train Hubby to put the heater on for me about 4 so it is fairly warm by the time I get in there!
Hugs on this cold day!

lovely busy desk and it's amazing that it was all cleared for brecky! I spy a Portmeirion coaster there! I have a set of the pottery (up to 10 pieces of everything) in the garage! I love it but changed to Denby somewhere along the line.

Hello my Lovely, Just had a scroll down and a catch up with your stunning crafty makes. I must say, your designs with Sheena's stamps are beautiful. Each of them so colourful and individual.
I can see your Cuttlebug has been working overtime helping you die cut all those flowers. Hope your workshop goes well.

Like the sound of your wreath, I do hope you will show the finished article on WOYWW. Where would we be without our Cuttlebugs? Thanks for your visit earlier. Hugs, Anne x #49

Well, you certainly look very busy, Lisa - well done taking on a workshop so near Christmas, and getting so much preparation done in advance.

Thanks for your visit and your nice comment - yes, I've managed to do quite a bit this week but had a day or two when I couldn't do a thing! It does mean that I really do appreciate it when I'm up to being creative. Page 1 of my album is finished now, to all intents and purposes, although I keep thinking of more things I'd like to add! I'll be starting page 2 soon. I've been hankering after those small circle punches for ages and can see myself using them a lot.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Your desk looks more interesting than mine today. I have started writing the cards and I am already bored. I enjoyed making them, but the writing is not such fun. I need two extra days just to get that job done, you know, the days that vanished last week. Hope your workshop goes well, and thanks for visiting this week. xx Maggie #62
