Sheena Sneaky Peaks

Evening lovely Crafters. I hope I find you well this Tuesday. The Indian Summer seems to have slipped away from Yorkshire today. It has been much cooler with some really heavy showers. Although the sunshine has made an appearance which has created some stunning rainbows.

I have been playing with some new Christmas stamps from Sheena Douglass which are being launched on Create and Craft on Friday. If you like traditional Christmas images then you are going to love these. I've thoroughly enjoyed getting messy with them.

Here are the first two using the snowy cottage.

I treated this one very simply just using Distress ink to give a monochrome effect. The backing panel is made with chipped sapphire and faded jeans distress inks and wet cling film on the Centura pearl. It gives a beautiful effect.

For this one I coloured the cottage with pro markers and then masked it off before applying distress inks to the sky and spraying with Luminarte gold radiant rain.

It's hard to get a good photo but this shows the glitter on the image with the mica sky a bit better.

Thanks for stopping by and I would just like to sign off with a special thought for all those effected by today's date. May it always be remembered.

Absolutely fabulous Lisa! Christmas must be only 14 weeks away!

Weather has turned much cooler here as well. I hate the dark mornings and the darker evenings. At least it slows the weeds from growing!

Beautiful cards Lisa - love the traditional Christmas image. Isn't it amazing how different these cards look - I didn't realise at first glance that you have used the same stamp on both cards. I love the soft vintage shabby-chic look of the first one, and the sky on the second one is fabulous. Have a great week -

Oh my! Two stunning creations and I must have that stamp! I am afraid I just can't keep up with all the sensational stamps Sheena is producing at the moment!

Hi there. What gorgeous cards you have created here Lisa. Wow! Soo clever and sooo beautiful.
Hugs to you today. It doesn't seem like 11 years since that awful day!
I still remember it like it was only a short time ago.

Oh wow. Love that stamp and you've given it two completely different looks. Will have to record everything as I'm traveling south on Friday to see my family.
