More Sheena Sneaky Peeks

Afternoon all. How are you this Thursday? Is it just me or has it turned a tad chilly???? I'm freezing. Was it only last week that we were sitting in the garden basking in Summer!! Well, never mind, maybe a bit more crafting will get done.

Here are a couple more cards I made for Sheena's Create and craft shows tomorrow. These really are beautiful stamps and the rest of the DT have done some stunning things with them so don't forget to catch the shows if you can. They are scheduled for 11am, 2pm and 6pm.

I used the mistletoe to make a very simple card really. It has just been decoupaged with a bit of sparkly stuff added. I also stamped up the organza ribbon although I'm not sure about using black ink, a colour may have looked better.

This second one is my favourite. I love this postbox. It come on a set with another stamp so is very versatile.

I decoupaged it again after colouring it with promarkers and adding glossy accents. The background was a happy accident but I just love this colour combination and will definitely be using it again. It's Broken China and Walnut Stain distress inks with gold pearl radiant rain sprayed over the top. I think it works with the red perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend

Hiya Lisa,
Wow I love your take on Sheena's stamps. So beautiful. The background for the postbox card is just perfect.
Thanks for the warm welcome to the team. I'm thrilled to be on a team with you Lisa. I'm so lucky to be creating alongside such talent.

Oh wow, Lisa! I love them both! I love the look of the new stamps. That post box would look good in gold too - we have David Whitehead's gold post box a couple of miles from here. Must try and remember to set the video. I too have felt very chilly. I have got out my fluffy slippers and winter dressing gown tonight and my feet are still cold!

Beautiful cards Lisa - the close-up of the postbox really shows off the gloss and the fabulous colours. I hope to see some of Sheena's programmes tomorrow, in-between ironing etc.!

Hi Lisa, I have an unexpected Granddaughter free morning so I'm having a hop round my blogging buddies ........instead of catching up on chores, lol! Love your cards and like you I love the postbox best. I haven't given my Christmas cards a thought yet and bet I end up leaving them to the last minute again this year. I used to be so organised but, alas, nolonger :0)!

We've been having much better weather than you by the sound of it. We've had a few showers but nothing to moan about (for a change, lol) and it's a bit breezy today but still can't call it cold during the day. It's a bit chillier after dark but that's quite nice ...... except for the heating bills, lol!

Off to catch Sheena now and play my usual game of trying to spy your cards, Ha! Ha!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog today. It was so nice to have something personal to blog for a change.

Hugs
