Shades Of Spring At The Stampman

Hello everyone, I hope your week has gone well. Ours has been a bit of a struggle again, not sure what's going on with this year but I'm not impressed at the minute. Thank goodness we have craft in our lives to escape too sometimes, that's all I can say.

Now, over at The Stampman Challenge Blog it's my turn to host and I'd like you to use SHADES OF SPRING. It is my favourite time of the year and there are lots of occasions to inspire you with Mother's Day coming up and then Easter so lets see all those soft colours.

For my DT project I used distress inks on glossy card to make a panel and then used these gorgeous Aspects of Design Butterfly Garden stamps. They are reduced on The Stampman website at the minute so I couldn't resist them. I edged the panel with a black marker and then added the paper roses and leaves cut from the stamp. The sentiment is a rub on from the Blog Candy I won last week but the colours matched perfectly.

It's going to be the front page of another clear stamps storage folder. I still have so many to get organised.

There is a £10 Stampman voucher for the winner and if you need more inspiration don't forget to pop over to the Challenge blog to see the amazing projects the DT have created again this week.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.

H Lisa
This is such a gorgeous card. I love the colours and the stamping out of the frame. Your roses are gorgeous and the blue leaves and sentiment balance the whole thing perfectly.
Have a great weekend.

Great design Lisa.
I played along in the end last time even though it wasn't greatly textured, it was something I was making at the time.
This week I have made something especially for the challenge Im waiting on it drying so I can get photos tomorrow :)

Hi Lisa, Love the gorgeous shades you have used on here. I bought that lovely set of stamps a couple of years ago and haven't inked them up in an age. Must get them out again soon. Your folder cover is beautiful.

Hmm, sounds like you have your share of problems at the moment too. I was going to email you but can't find you in my contacts (was sure I had your addy) and somehow can't access your addy from your profile. If you get a minute can you email me so I can get in touch. Thanks.

Big Hugs
Lesley Xx

That’s such a pretty card Lisa, I love the soft colours.
I was surprised when you said the background was distress inks on glossy paper because when I first saw it I thought it looked soft and chalky……just shows how wrong I can be. Loving those gorgeous flowers too.

I hope you have a better week, this week.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Crafting!
