Evening lovely Crafters. I've just realised it's a week since I last posted anything, goodness that went quickly and I wish I could say I've been sunning myself somewhere nice but unfortunately, no, I've been here in wet old Blighty being incredibly busy. It looks like that's the way of things for another couple of weeks so forgive me if my posts are a bit erratic but I will try and get round and visit you all even if I'm not here in The Craft Garden.
I've been doing more bold colouring with my promarkers and am loving the results. When we were at the Harrogate Papershow in March I loved all the samples on the Polkadoodles stand and one of them was a beach hut made from their cottage stamps so this is my attempt. I just matted it with a greeting. Do you think it needs anything else?
I tried the same technique with one of Sheena's gorgeous Little Sketchy stamps. I think this is my favourite of the three and when my friend came for a coffee and saw it on my desk she said "Oh that's lovely it looks like my Niece and Nephew, Max & Molly" so from now on that's what these two little cuties will always be called. I did a little bit of paper piecing for their costumes.
I always sign off by saying I hope your week has gone well and that you have a great weekend but I am very aware tonight that for some of my dear blogging friends, life is pretty tough at the minute so I'll just say thanks for stopping by and look after yourselves and each other. I treasure all your friendships very much.

Hi Lisa, I'm so impressed with your colouring - I've tried the PolkaDoodle method just once so far but didn't do as good as job as you've done. The house works well as a seaside cottage. Like the pieced swimsuits on Max & Molly too. We've had a bit more sunshine in the last few days and have been out pottering in the garden so let's hope the weekend brings us more of the same. Have a good one. Elizabeth x
You're a dab hand with those Promarkers Lisa. Those cards are really good....so different to your usual style but lovely still. Hope life slows down for you but do try to enjoy your weekend,... and hope the sun shines for you.

Wow, what gorgeous cards, Lisa! Fabulous colouring! The pictures are strong enough not to need anything adding to them, they're perfect as they are. Love the paper piecing!
Hugs, Lynne x

These cards are lovely Lisa!! Great colouring!!
Thanks so much for the kind comment you left me on my blog. I tend to post on the DT blog soon to let you all know what is happening with me! xx
These are great Lisa. Your Promarker colouring is quite awesome. As has been said before they are very different cards to your normal style but just as lovely. I don't think they need anything adding either. They are perfect as they are.

Hi Lisa, love love love the beach hut card and your colouring in is stunning! I know how hard it is to craft/blog when we are all so busy but so nice to see when we get the chance. Try and catch your breath though - life is too short to let it all rush by. Hugs and enjoy the weekend my dear friend xxx
Hi Lisa
Your bold colouring is amazing .. .. and I love the finished look of your cards. Just perfect as they are.
You will certainly have been able to give yourself a bit of "sunning" yesterday .. .. but I bet you were still busy!! We dream of being lazy but just can't bring ourselves to do it!! LOL!!!
My dinner joint had been taken out of the freezer for yesterday otherwise I would have done the same as you. A salad would have been much more sensible.
I didn't do much of the ironing either. LOL!!!
Take care and keep busy!!!
Love Jules xx
Really lovely both of them and perfect as they are. Yes you may giggle...I do not do Tilda but hey once in a while I'm game for anything. We have been blessed with lousy weather and the kids break for summer on Thursday so we'll see if it improves any.....Cheers Claire x Where is the time going to?
WOW!! Both of these cards are simply~gorgeous!! And you've definitely perfected Nikky's technique and done a fabulous job!!
The beach hut card is absolutely perfect and definitely doesn't need anything else...can't wait to see what you make next! Hope all is well with you and you had a lovely weekend and that the sun shone!

Hi Lisa so agree with the title and yet what am I doing on here looking at blogs - I should be in bed love the bright cheery colouring there thanks for sharing Shaz in oz.x
Hi Lisa,
I adore the card you colored and paper-pieced with the sweet children at the beach. You did such a wonderful job and your coloring is wonderful, I have only tried ProMarkers a few times, and I use Copic, but I think they are similar in the way they color and blend.
I also wanted to thank you for visiting my blog last week. It's also nice to meet another 'Lisa', especially once who loves to create!!
I'm now a new follower and will look forward to seeing more of your 'Craft Garden'.
Hugs,
Lisa

Wow! What stunning cards, Lisa! I must try the polkadoodle method. Hope you have had some sun in the past few days, but not been too hot. It's rather crazy at work for me too at the moment - sports day, Spanish day, summer fair, talent show, theatre company, INSET and that's just two weeks worth! We are galloping towards the end of term at a rate of knots! Hope you get some R&R soon x
Fabulous cards Lisa - I could move into that cute little house, right there on the beach - it looks so inviting! Love Max and Molly - the paper piecing and colouring is superb.
See you soon - hugs, Sylvia xx
Hi Lisa, Gorgeous cards, love Molly and Max, what great backgrounds you have created, I don't think you need anything else at all! Love it Gay xxx
