WOYWW-A Few Sweetpeas

Afternoon lovely Bloggers and happy WOYWW. I hope the weather has been as gorgeous in your little part of the World as it's been here in Yorkshire today. Warm sunshine, perfect.

We have made the most of it and spent the morning at Harewood House where little people can run off lots of energy and then in the garden this afternoon, so my desk is just as I left it after I had cleared up last night. I had a very satisfying few hours with Sheena's Paint Fusion Sweetpeas. You can see the scrap paper with all the practising on, so it wasn't instant, but I got there in the end and for once I'm very happy with the results.

I've made this little hanger for my kitchen. It still needs putting together but the messy paint bit is finished.

And just to send you a little cheer if the weather hasn't been as good as ours or if you just need a smile sending your way, here's one of my beautiful Tulips in the garden being visited by a little buggy friend.

If you want to share your crafty space or just want to be nosey, then pop over to see our esteemed leader, Julia at Stamping Ground and prepare to be wowed by what you find.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Lisa, the sweet peas are gorgeous. You're really mastering the PF technique - I need to practice more :( Thanks for the glimpse of your tulip and the ladybug - just the thing to cheer us up here because it's been pouring with rain most of the day. Isn't it just like the thing though - the sun has come out now :) Hope you have a good week. Elizabeth x #108

Wow, Lisa! I love the sweet peas! You seem to be getting your crackle much finer than I'm doing. I'm wondering if I am not thinning my glue enough. your tulips are looking beautiful. Ours are out now too.

Oh wow Lisa,!
Did you really paint those Sweet Peas yourself?
They are amazing and the colours are absolutely beautiful.

I grow Sweet Peas in my garden every year because they were my mum’s favourite flowers, so they have a very special place in my heart.

Loving the wall hanging too, it’s going to look fab on your kitchen wall.

Have a great crafting week!

That sign is so beautiful. Did you use crackle accents on it to give it that vintage theme? I would love to be able to paint like that. I love it and it will look great hanging up.
Happy WOYWW

Those sweet peas are so pretty, and really do justice to Sheena's techniques. I keep meaning to have a go, but so far time has been running away with me. Thanks for your visit and your kind comments, especially about the baby powder. I agree, it does smell nice, and if it is good enough for Barbara Grey, it is definitely good enough for me.

Love the hanging for your kitchen, its a beauty and the tulip in your garden with the ladybug is just what I needed - spring looks like it might actually be arriving as most of the snow in the garden is melting - but we are no where near the tulips stage yet!! Annette

Thanks for sharing your desk with us Lisa - love those hearts. I bet that they are worth all the messy painting when you see them displayed.
Lovely weekend, we have been so lucky - hope that does not mean we are not getting a summer again though.
