WOYWW

Evening Blogland. We are getting back into something like a routine again after the Summer holidays, which means homework for DD. Her first piece was to write about herself and her family. After she had written a page about her two cats, she then wrote this "My Mum is called Lisa and all she does is tidies, polishes and irons." After I had finished laughing I had to say I was speechless!

Well, all the polishing and ironing is done so here's my workspace today for you to have a good nosey at. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go and check out the lovely Julia's blog, you'll be amazed how many WOYWW's there are in the world!!

As you can see, I'm in my usual state of chaos with lots of projects in hand. I've just stamped and embossed dozens of butterflies to be coloured ready for some cards I'm making.

You can also see a set of photos balanced precariously on my sweetie jar ready for a Scrapbook layout, that's tonight's crafting organised.

The other pile of stuff is my shopping from Kanban at the weekend. It all needs putting away but I keep dipping into the box for card, so it may end up staying there until next week.

Of course there is also the obligatory cup of coffee.

I've also been playing with handbags again this week and have made this one for my SIL who is definitely a handbag and shoes kinda girl. The papers are DCVW and I've cuttlebugged the flap. The embellishments are card candy.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your week is going well so far.

Looks a sensible workdesk to me. I simply have to tidy up between projects and I try not to do two things at once (I am easily confused!) Jill x

Good grief - all that stamping and card making and for this evening you expect to move onto a LO? Impressive! Imagine how impressed the teacher will be at how you spend your days!!

Well, Lisa, I can imagine why you were speechless! I just hope your daughter appreciates all the tidying, polishing and ironing you do!

LOVE that handbag! I want one! (A real one just like it!)

No point showing off my desk at the moment. It's amazingly tidy. No work in progress. Going back to school this week was a bit of a shock to the system! But I've just taken delivery of some new stamps, so hopefully it will soon be getting messed up.

Hugs, Lynne xx

I'm chuckling at what your daughter wrote but think I can beat it :-) My daughter was asked to write about what she could hear when in bed at night and she put 'I can hear my Mum and Dad in the bath'. What she didn't write was 'seperatly'!!! I think the teachers just like to snoop into parents lives don't you? :-)

Another fabulous bag-making person! Have you seen Darcy's over on Art & Sole?
This bag is gorgeous!!
Funny you say about you daughter saying the only things you do is cook, iron and clean - my family say the same about me - I have also been called "Monica" (Friends) on several occasions. Crafting is my reward for all the other chores I had to complete!
Again - fab bag!

Wow, you are one busy crafter! I am so impressed by the purse you made and all the things you are working on. No wonder you can get so many things done.

Sorry I'm so late getting around this week. I seem to have had a hard time keeping my computer going. It just wants to freeze up every time I visit a new site. Happy belated WOYWW!
