WOYWW 587

Morning lovely deskers from a sunny Yorkshire today. I hope you are all staying well and keeping safe and getting back to some sort of new normal.

Sorry I haven't joined in for a few weeks. We have been finishing off our kitchen refit that started last summer so I've been busy stripping and painting walls. We still have floor tiles to put down after a radiator has been moved so not finished yet.

Anyway, I do have a desk to share with you.

A bit of scrapping in process.

DD and I had out first little shopping trip to Harrogate last week and crafty shopping occurred which made me want to play with my new bits and pieces.  I'm still trying out things so nothing is stuck down yet and I need to do a bit of stamping on the background and add some lace and bits and bobs but it's coming together.

I also upcycled an old stool yesterday to use in the kitchen.

Despite the poor summer we've had the garden has been looking lovely. I usually spend a fortune buying new plants but, apart from compost, I haven't bought anything this year and am really pleased with how it's turned out just using plants that survived the winter. A lesson learnt for future years me thinks!

This lily has been fantastic and smelt amazing. It was taller than me.

Well that's me this week. If you want to join in and share your desk with us then pop over to see Julia at WOYWW headquarters.

Enjoy your Wednesday, Stay Safe and Happy Crafting!!
