WOYWW 394

Morning dear WOYWW friends. I'm so glad I'm finally able to join you all again for the last desk hop before the Christmas Festivities.....it's been awhile. Life has been a bit hectic in The Craft Garden over the last few months.

So, here's my desk today.

Not much happening really. I've managed to make some Christmas cards and have just finished a couple of special ones for both my Mums. There is also a paper pine cone lying there from Craft Club last week that needs some decoration to finish it and then it will find a home on the Christmas tree.

Here's a close up of the card.

I thought you might like a look in the other direction to see the carnage that is my craft room at the minute. It's hard to even get into my desk.

I've spent the last few months moving my Mum and although we got rid of a frightening amount of stuff, some of it found it's way into my craft room, books that might come in useful for something, a box of inks I couldn't bear to give to charity and much more....I guess the first job of the new year will be to have a tidy up. At least the Xmas pressies that are in there will have gone to new homes by then. Mum's move was hectic, we did it ourselves, but she loves her new home and has settled really well so it was all worth while.

Well, it just remains for for me to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and lets hope 2017 is Happy, Healthy and Peaceful for everyone.

If you want to join in with this fantastic WOYWW desk hop, then pop over to see Julia HERE.

I shall be round to see what you've all been up too when I've made a fresh cuppa so enjoy your Wednesday and Happy Crafting.

Ah Lisa, thought it was probably the moving of mumma that explained the long silence ... ever so glad she has settled in nicely!!! It's a big adjustment so pray it all irons itself out in time for you all. Can relate totally to the need for big cleanup. My crafty space definitely needs it.
Lovely card, gorgeous colouring.
Blessings upon you as we remember Jesus' birthday and a healthy 2017.
Happy WOYWW!!

HI Lisa, having a good sort out of the craft room seems to be a post- Christmas tradition for most of us,lol. Good to know your Mom is moved and happy, mine has just moved to a bungalow from a 3 bed house, she's loving it, said she should have done it a long time ago. Which we all knew, but also knew it was no good trying to persuade her either. Moms! Sending wishes for a very Happy & Peaceful Christmas from us both, Many hugs, Shaz #7 xx

I'm so chuffed that your mum's move was such a success! It's a big thing so her and I'm glad it all went well. It's hard work for you though, well done for sorting out all the stuff. Doing my dad's made me determined to declutter as much as possible from our house before we moved. Your workroom is very 'busy' lol, that can be your post-Christmas task!
Your lovely card arrived today, thank you - hope you all have a wonderful Christmas :-D
Hugs, LLJ 15 xxxx

A beautiful card. If my mum manages to sell her home and move nearer to me that will be one of my jobs next year - moving mum. Have a wonderful Christmas. Anne x #13

Your room, scarily, looks a lot like mine! Stacks and stacks. I've been trying to re-think my room to give me more space, as I want to try having Art Journaling classes there in the new year. Hoping for enough room for at least 4 people at a time, maybe 6. Don't know If I will achieve that! Your little bird Christmas Card looks lovely! I'm glad your Mom is happy in her new home! Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas! Lindart #28

Gorgeous card, love it. It's so easy to acquire stuff because you think you may be able to use them but like you I must have a good sort out in the new year. Have fun and Merry Christmas, Angela xXx 14

Hello Lisa. Glad to hear that your moms move went smoothy....but always not easy to do. Your card is beautiful. Yes even I have a messy spot that looks like your but it is out of site in the crawl space witch the new year is a must get it done for me. Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season.
