Although I'm joining in with WOYWW this week, I have no desk to show you. The dreaded C word has landed in my craft room but it's nothing I can share at the minute, just lots of samples in progress.
Instead I'm sharing the lovely collection of ATC's I received even though I didn't officially join in the birthday celebrations.
Thank you to Sandra De, LLJ, Diane and Sam, you are all very kind.
I also wanted to share some photos I've taken around town. We are preparing for the great excitement of The Tour De France on 5th July. It is coming right through the centre of town and for the last month or so yellow bikes have appeared everywhere and the flowers look fantastic.
This week we have flags flying and all the shop windows have been painted with Tour De France images.
It's going to be a real spectacle and despite the fact that the roads in every direction are totally closed for the whole day, we won't care as we will hopefully have a roadside viewing spot within walking distance of home.
If you want to join in the WOYWW fun, then pop over to see Julia, HERE.
I hope you will forgive my lack of desk but I'll be around to have a look at yours when I get in from work so thanks for stopping round and Happy Crafting.

I'm a mad keen Tour de France fan and am really looking forward to seeing them whizz through the glorious Yorkshire scenery! Get to the front and give us wave when they go through your town and all the WOYWWers can wave back at you :-)
Those yellow bikes are great fun!!
Hugs, LLJ 16 xx

Oh the tour de france visiting sounds fab ... love the yellow bikes!! x
Oh heck Lisa, I could have waved to you. Where do you live? We went through Skipton from Nelson and then on to Grassington. What a lovely part of the country to live in.
Wish I had taken photos of some shop windows in Skipton now.
Thanks for your share and enjoy the race.
Hugs, Neet xx
Thanks for visiting, Lisa and you nice remarks.
Don't those yellow bikes look cheerful, shame it is only for a sporting event and not just to make life more colourful.
Lovely ATC's you have there, very pretty.

Hi Lisa, happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting my desk. Haven't we all been so lucky with the ATC swap - it was great fun and it also looks like a lot of fun happening in your town...I love the yellow bicycles - I've seen bits of the race in France on TV and they have the bicycles too. Cheers and have a great week RobynO#29
Lovely ATC's! What fun! and excitement over the Tour!
It was Twiglet who made the lovely embroidered ATC.
Thanks for visiting.

Lisa how fab an effort your town is making - it came through Andover about 15 years ago and apart from road closures, you wouldn't have known. And my goodness, when they come through, you get a taste of how fast they consistently ride too; in a pack..it must be really scarey!
I just read on Sheena's blog that she'd put her Christmas designs to bed, so I guess that's what's keeping you busy! Enjoy!
Hi Lisa, clever idea to have the yellow bikes with flowers. Looks like the Tour promotion team have a crafter amongst the team.

What a treat to see the Tour up close! Love the bright yellow of the bicycles. I'll have to keep my eyes open at the junk for a discard. Creative Blessings ~ Kelly #73
Lovely shots today, Lisa. What a great sight to see all those coloured bicycles. Enjoy the race when it comes!
Thanks for visiting, and for your comments. Yes, indeed the dresses will be shown after the big days. Nearly done #1, and my mind is already racing ahead to #2!
