WOYWW 263

Morning all. It's lovely to get back to WOYWW. I've swapped my days to work so have a Wednesday to myself at last....and the sun is shining again so what could be better, apart from hopping round a few desks.

First things first, I would just like to wish our esteemed leader Julia a speedy recovery after her Spanish adventures. It's good to see you home safe and sound, Julia.

Now, my desk as of last night. I am sharing it with my daughter.

We have been playing with some Lavinia stamps together. She had to make a birthday card for her Grandma yesterday and these came out and now there's no stopping her. You can see the pile on the table there. You can also see my Project Life things, I'm just about managing to keep up with my documented weeks. Hopefully I'll get some done later.

Here are a couple of Lavinia cards I made. I intend to have more of a play today while DD is at school.

You might also remember last time I joined the register I was in the middle of painting our new bathroom. Well, it's all finished now so here's a quick picture. We love it. A grown up bathroom at last.

I revamped the pine bathroom cabinet too. My Hubby thinks it's very funny.

If you want to join in the WOYWW fun then pop over HERE and see what it's all about.

I'm off to make a cuppa now and then I'll be round to see what you've been up too so enjoy your day and Happy Crafting.

I love Lavinia stamp techniques - so pretty and ethereal. and is it just ME or does your bathroom and your blog background share some elements? :) Life imitating art? No matter, both are very pretty - and indeed very grown up!

Happy WOYWW!

Lisa, thanks for visiting and I have got a bit more enthusiasm for making cards now. (I spent about an hour wandering through cards on Pinterest and got a bit of inspiration)
Those Lavinia stamps are just gorgeous aren't they, that cat one is beautiful. Did you colour the background or are they prepared cards that I know you can get. Either way they are very special.
Your bathroom looks very classy too,
Enjoy your Wednesday off and your playing while DD is at school.
Bless you

LOL, love that bathroom cabinet!! Clever you thinking of doing that - you'd pay loads for something like that off Etsy! I am very jealous of your bathroom...I wanted us to do similar but the money had to be used on repointing the house - sigh. :-(
And your cards are gorgeous!! I love the colours you've used and the cat stamp is cute :-)

Hi Lisa

thanks for your visit - you asked about the birdhouses on my desk - yes, they are to be decorated/altered (but not altered into something other than a birdhouse lol)...

Love your colourful crafting and busy desk... enjoy your day off - you've picked the right one!

How nice to be able to craft with your daughter, Lisa. Lovely new bathroom - I smiled at the "His" & "Hers" cupboard doors - if that was us, I'd find my hubby's stuff over on my side regardless of any signs, I think!!

Thanks for your visit and nice comment. Yes, the Cotswolds are beautiful - we can't get over the loveliness of the villages with their warm Cotswold stone. I would be enjoying it more if I didn't feel so completely wiped out with exhaustion - I need a week of doing nothing to recover from our recent activities and then I might be ready for sightseeing. Having to get up for an 8 a.m. breakfast isn't helping either!!

I love crafting and painting with my daughter. We started the tradition when she was a baby and it has continued! Heather has a degree in art and teaches painting classes so I guess it was a good thing to get her involved in! I love the new bathroom and that his and hers cabinet isn't funny! It is a necessity to keep peace in my family! Have a great week and thanks for visiting my desk! Vickie #19

Hi Lisa, thanks for stopping by at mine. It must be great to stamp with your daughter as long as she doesn't pinch the bit of card you wanted Lol!
The show has been lovely today, it started cloudy, then the sun came out, then we had a bit of wind but no rain thank goodness. Lots of photos to post on Friday.
Happy crafting, Angela x #45
