WOYWW 227

Morning WOYWW friends. I nearly forgot it was Wednesday this week. It surely can't be a whole week since we last desk hopped around. I'm sure someone pinches a few days each week they seem to go faster and faster. Anyway, luckily I did remember at the last minute but you'll have to excuse the brightness of my pics as it was very early when I took them and still dark!!

There's not much to see on my desk this week, I'm just revamping some old cards I discovered in a box that will be fine with a makeover so I thought I'd step back and show you my complete crammed in little space. As you can see it's totally full, although after my tidy up I have managed to get my craft trolley stored away under the desk instead of living in the doorway where I fell over it everyday. I also have to store my washing basket under there, thankfully empty which means I have done my housewifely duties for this week, phew!! As long as I still have room for my knees under the desk all's good.

This is the other side of the desk to the one you usually see. My lovely DH built me the ink storage unit out of my DD's old cabin bed, waste not want now!! The rest of it is currently holding up our porch...but that's another story!!

Before I go I can share with you now one of the DT cards I was working on last Wednesday. I'm really pleased with this. The main image is stamped with Distress inks and brushed out with water but the rest of it is done with real watercolour paints!! My WOYWW friend Sandra De does some stunning watercolour art and she inspired me to have a go, baby steps as yet but I shall definitely do more.

Right , that's me today so don't forget to join in with this wonderful world of desk hopping by visiting the lovely Julia, HERE and I'll be round to see what you've been up to later in the day.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting.

How excellent that you've used your DDs bed again! I love it when things can be repurposed like that! Love the dreamy, misty card too...gorgeous subtle tones.
I think it's brilliant that you're doing watercolours..it's a skill that I don't possess! So I'm impressed that you're having a go!
Thanks for the visit and kind comments,

Your crafty corner looks about the size of mine. Isn't it nice to get the laundry and the housework done--I can't really enjoy my crafty time if I have chores hanging over my head! Can I just say, I love that little two-tiered wire basket on your desk. Cute! Thanks for the visit and happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #5

Definitely think you should carry on with the water colouring. You've obviously got a talent for it. The sky looks so realistic.
Your crafty space is so organised.

Love having a peek at your room and seeing that we all share a similar style! thanks so much for the compliment. Your card is lovely and I think I will have to try brushing water over a stamped image, it gives such a much softer image. Woyww is always inspiring, probably why we keep coming back and cheering each other on! Have a lovely week.

Hi Lisa
I am sitting here feeling really sorry for you and imagining you finishing a craft project, getting up from your desk and finding that you have indentations on your knees from the stuff under your desk!
I love your water colour card Lisa the colours are so soft and the finished card looks amazing. I need to be trying some water colouring and trying to get to grips with my new pens.
Happy WOYWW and wishing you a great week
