WOYWW 214 or should that be 213???

Morning lovely crafters and dear WOYWW friends. Here we are in the middle of yet another week and over half way through the year as well. They say times goes faster as you get older but I wish some one would invent a brake to slow it down a bit. We'd have more crafty time then. I have so many things I want to do and just never seem to get round to.

Anyway, here's my desk as of last night. It hasn't changed this morning and won't as I'm off to work in a minute.

I've been asked to do a Ruby Wedding card and have been playing with these rolled flowers, which I love. It's the first time this Spellbinders die has had an outing but I decided to cut a few and make them up for later projects. You can never have enough flowers can you?

As you can see I'm back up in my craft room. I tend to go there when I have things I have to do and use the dining table for things I want to do. The scrapbook layout is still on that but has progressed. I took it all apart after last week and started again and things flowed much better. I still have bits to stick down and finish hence the wonky angles but am much happier with it now.

I have also been recycling an old beige plastic mirror and pine shelf for my DD's new bedroom. She's really pleased with the finished results and they match her new wallpaper really well.

So that's me for another week. If you want to share your desk with a few hundred very friendly crafters, then pop over to see the lovely Julia, Queen of WOYWW, HERE.

I shall look forward to catching up with all your desks later in the day but, in the meantime thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting.

Morning Lisa, busy desk as always! Love DD's room, very pretty and girly no wonder she is pleased!

Hope the garden is looking good. Just started to cut the hedge which is a BIG job! Takes me several weeks to finish it as it's about 8foot tall and there is a lot of it! Lots of yummy fruit to keep me going though!! Take care. Jill x

Blimey Lisa, talk about busy! That ruby card is exquisite, and I have a thing about the rolled flowers; I had to make an effort to stop using them because they were getting everywhere! Love the bedroom re modelling, what a great idea.

As you can see I'm having a major catch up. Had trouble getting back into the swing after my travels of late. It was a good idea to walk away from the scrap book page and come back to it refreshed coz it's turned out beautifully. The mirror frame and the shelf are lovely. Don't know how you find the time to do all this crafting and go to work - you must be either superwoman or worn out.

Loving the mirror, fab-ness supreme! Those flowers are fab, I have a bigger die that makes similar but it's too big for cards really. Take care Zo xx 69

I’m not surprised your DD is thrilled with the mirror and shelf, it’s beautiful and as you say, goes with the wall paper perfectly.
I actually have craft stuff out on my table this week….I think it’s the first time this year!

Happy Crafting!

Oh I so agree, Lisa - you can never have enough flowers - and what beautiful ones too! Great job, and lovely card too. Your desk looks so pretty and colourful. The two hoops (not sure what they are) on your caddy look like a giant pair of glasses lol! I love the white wire storage thingy too. Very pretty.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment and for not forgetting me lol lol!!! I've been away for so long... Keep your eyes on my blog for more photos of my wonderful new ARTHaven (and the rest of the house). I am so thrilled about it all. Thank you also for the hugs - soooo much appreciated - and I'm trying not to worry about the upcoming test. Preliminary appt. at the hospital tomorrow a.m. and hopefully the examination early next week. I just want to get the whole thing behind me now.

Happy WOYWW,

The mirror and shelf look fabulous, what a lucky girl to have such a clever mum. Your card is really beautiful and those roses are perfect. I didn't know they came from a flat roll of paper, really clever.
Have a great week.

Hi Lisa - I am loving that mirror and shelf - I'm sure your daughter will be very pleased with her
co-ordinating bedroom. I am having a quick catch up before we head off on holiday tomorrow. I am so with you...where does the time go? I am still unpacking from Woolfest and trying to fit in some creative work, will have to pack my embellisher to take away with me I think! Cheers and have a super summer! Claire x
