A Spring Card But No Spring Weather

Morning folks. I hope you are keeping warm today as we suffer yet more Wintery weather. Here in Yorkshire we have woken to about an inch of the white stuff but the forecasters are saying it won't stop until some time tomorrow and then start again on Sunday. Can someone tell the Weather Gods that Spring actually started some time ago please!!

I am not braving the biting winds to go outside so excuse the spattered windows but my poor daffs have their white hats on again.

Last night, before the snow came, it was our fortnightly Craft Club at a local farm and this is the card I demoed and the ladies really enjoyed making it. The Cuttlebug has now been renamed The Mangle amid much giggling!! It was a lovely night and Sue, our hostess, had a roaring open fire going so it was lovely and cosy.

I have given myself another Snow Day so am going to have a full day of playing, something I haven't done for so long. Just can't decide whether to scrapbook or play with paints and a canvas. Oh to have so many choices.

I hope whatever you are doing today you are keeping safe.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

I just don't know what this weather is all about Lisa, we also had snow and it very cold and windy as well.

The Spring flowers and blossoms are so far behind, I usually gauge by one of the forsythias outside the kitchen window,it's usually in full flower by mid March, this year it's showing only a hint of colour and a long way from being in bloom.

Your card is pretty and sure the ladies enjoyed making it.

Well we'd had about 4 inches by the time I opened the curtains this morning and it snowed heavily till about 10 ish. It's still trying now but at least some of it has cleared off the road.I didn't go out last night and thank goodness - as it started snowing mid evening here. Hope you are enjoying your crafty day - whatever you decided to do. My excuse for staying in the craft room is that it's always the warmest room.
Your card is beautiful - it must be lovely to be able to create such loveliness among friends and in a cosy environment too.

No snow here Lisa! It's been raining for over 24hours now and its windy. Have to say that your snowy photo does look pretty even though you have probably had too much of the white stuff now! Try and have a good weekend. Jill x

Pretty card Lisa! I am wondering when Spring will arrive. We are usually yellow with daffodils and warm, though ours are still not out properly yet!!
Keep warm. Did you get your paints out after? I have new flowers to share soon.

A really pretty card, Lisa. I wish the weather would make up it's mind! 4-5 inches of snow here and flurries still coming. Just watched a neighbours car sliding backwards down the hill (with him in it!)so getting to work tomorrow could be interesting!
