WOYWW 430

Morning dear WOYWW friends. I hope I find you well and happy this Wednesday morning.

Here's my desk this morning.

I'm having a play with a new stamp I bought back in the spring that hasn't seen ink up to now and have been trying to colour her with some watercolour pencils. DD thinks she looks sad, that's probably something to do with my colouring, I'm not sure. She is going to go on a hanging heart hopefully. An idea I found on Pinterest. What would we do without Pinterest when Mr Mojo deserts us?

We had a lovely day out on Bank Holiday Monday to a local National Trust house, Beningborough Hall near York. The weather was beautiful and so were the gardens.

I loved these old boots in the potting shed, they look well loved.

And a tea pot made from blue pottery at the entrance to the café.

I mentioned last time that we were nervously waiting for exam results. Well, I'm delighted to say that DD did amazingly well in her GCSE's and we are very proud of her. She is now looking forward to doing her chosen A'Levels, Art, Photography, Maths and Ethics.

Sorry I didn't manage to get round many desks last week, despite my good intentions. I will do better this week. If you want to share your desk with us, then pop over to WOYWW headquarters and link up with the lovely Julia.

Have a lovely Wednesday whatever you are up too and Happy Crafting!!

Happy WOYWW. I love the stamped image - and I am now off to Pinterest to look for hanging hearts. Beautiful gardens - and I love the big teapot. We do not have many NT properties within easy distance here in the far west - but always try to visit some when we are on our travels. Congratulations to your daughter on her exam results. Ali x #18

Morning Lisa. What beautiful looking gardens. Never been there - but obviously somewhere to add to the list... Congrats to DD. My eldest grand daughter also was awaiting GCSE results. I'm proud of her, too. She did really well. Now on to two years of A levels with that one, and two years of GCSE work with the next two grandies!!!
Your colouring is beautiful. Well done.
Take care. God bless.

I like the boots very much - they look almost as tho' someone were coming to put them on at any moment. But the teapot really sends a shivery thrill! I'd love to see it in person.
Happy WOYWW!
