WOYWW 285

Morning crafters and dear WOYWW friends. Here we are at another Wednesday. The weeks are just flying aren't they?

I took my desk photo yesterday afternoon when there was some very welcome sunshine . We haven't seen that for a few weeks here in Yorkshire. Most days have been dark and dismal, typical November but not cold.

I'm working on some cards for my craft club ladies, yes it's that time again. My desk is full of stuff as always. There is a paper book tree I've been trying out and in front of that it a little wooden birdhouse I picked up for 42p. I'm planning to alter it and make it really pretty. You might also spot some decoupage amongst the debris which is the beginnings of a Christmas card. There I've said it, yes I've made a start at last.
These are the cards I'm working on, not sure what the style is called, no doubt someone out there will be able to tell me, but I decided to do a small one with just a sentiment on and a slightly larger one with a stamped and coloured design. Not everyone likes the same thing so I try to make sure they can choose what they make.

Well, that's me today. If you want to join in this lovely weekly desk hop, then pop over to see Julia HERE.

I'll be round to have a look at what you've been up too just as soon as I've made a fresh cuppa.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great Wednesday and Happy Crafting.

Hi Lisa, absolutely love your little book/christmas tree. Such a clever idea. I haven't even started making cards ... I think about it and then start painting flowers. Truly I have the attention span of gnat. BTW it is a very pretty card. As for the rugby ... thanks for letting me know it is happening in OZ .... I just don't do sport! Have a lovely week.

Oh wow, that paper tree is just amazing! I am not into X-mas trees at all (I have white 'branches' with little lights in it, that I put in a vaze with Christmas - that's all my decoration) but this year I might add a paper tree too... I'm in love with that! Sorry that I did not stop by last week... time just slipped through my hands. Did I make it up to you by commenting now? Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #44

You've given your ladies a lot of choice! I love the card, so soft and pretty and that little bird house is really cute, not to mention a bargain.
The weather has been grey and grim down here too, except today is lovely.the autumnal colours really stood out as I drove through the forest this morning.
Hope you and yours are all keeping well and happy :-)

Hi Lisa,

Lots of exciting things on your desk! It's so sweet of you to have several different type of projects for the club. It's very thoughtful of you!

The card you shared at the end of your post is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for visiting me earlier. I'm slowly making my way around to desks. It will be an all weekend affair!

Hi Lisa, now that is a well loved crafting desk! Meaing it is well used! :D I love your beautiful cards, OMGosh! That little bird house is already cute so I can only imagine it's transformation once you get done with it! Would love to see it when finished. Sorry I'm late getting around but gosh, I must be a tortoise as I surely couldn't imagine visiting 70+ desks in one day, lol!
