Sheena's 4 Day Deal...Gone!!!

Afternoon lovely crafters. Another dark, wet cold day here in Yorkshire. I hope you have managed to find a bit of sunshine somewhere.

I have been enjoying Sheena's 4 day deal programmes on Create and Craft this week and am not surprised that it has sold out so quickly, they really are gorgeous folders. That faux leather technique that she demonstrated yesterday with the glycerine is a must...I've been out for my bottle today so will be playing later!

Anyway, I thought I'd share a couple more cards I made for the shows.

This first one is using the A4 ivy folder and I used the bleaching technique with distress inks and then swiped a versamark pad over the top and gold embossed the raised areas.

And with this one I used the versamark over the embossed card first and black heat embossed and then applied the distress inks over the top before spraying it all with a pearlescent mica spray.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow for WOYWW, the highlight of the week.

Happy Crafting.

Great techniques that I am going to have to try as the cards are wonderful. Thanks for the tips and I wait to see what you do with a bottle of glycerine! I always wonderedwhat people use it for. Hopefully some rays of sunshine come your way, we take our sunshine for granted in OZ. Have a lovely week.

Gorgeous cards Lisa. What a great range of embossing folders. Haven't ordered them all but may get the rest later. I had glycerine in the house (from when I made myself a 'gelli' plate) so had a go at the faux leather yesterday with the birds folder. Yay! It works. Just need some pretty cotton to line the covers with. Think I'll be making a few more of these when I get my new folders.
