More Sheena Sneaky Peeks

Afternoon folks. I hope you are enjoying your Saturday. It's been cold and foggy here all day but we've had a lovely outing to Skipton for a bit of Christmas shopping and a coffee.

As promised here are two more samples using the new Sheena Douglass stamps which have been created for the Pebeo fantasy paints.

I used Dusty Concord Distress Ink  to create a background and embossed this lovely flower with gold sparkly embossing powder before painting the inside of it with more Dusty Concord.

This lovely scene is painted with H20's. I stamped the flowers again onto scrap card and cut them out to stick them onto the frame that I added to set it all off.

The rest of the team have created some stunning samples and I'm sure you'll spot them during your blog hopping.

Well, short and sweet from me tonight. I have some Hairy Biker Chilli bowls to rustle up for tea.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Both gorgeous pieces Lisa but I really love the fusion of gold and purple on the first one.

Hope we see these and Sheena on our screen again soon, or at least as soon as she is up to it again.

Hope you have a good weekend although the weather is none too enticing.

Two more beautiful cards Lisa and I especially love the first one. That's one gorgeous background! The second one is lovely with the frame and 3D flowers. Really pretty!

We had a bit of fog until mid afternoon but then it turned to more wind and rain :-/. It's horrible again now and it's been so dark since lunchtime. I really shouldn't wish my life away but roll on Spring.

Lovely cards Lisa - definitely shows that the stamps are not just for painting - bet the H2O's worked really well on the second card - just wish there was a way of capturing the bling more in pictures! :-) xx

Hi Lisa

Two gorgeous projects but I have to admit to really loving the first one you have posted.

Fabulous colours, a brilliant sentiment and the gold embossing makes everything look really luxurious.

Sheena is going to be so pleased with them both.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Love Jules xx

Beautiful cards, Lisa! I love them both, but the colour combo on the first is my favourite, I think. Thanks for all your lovely comments. It was cold and foggy here most of yesterday too, but we have had some sunshine today. I am beginning to be very thankful that we had our roof replaced when we did (about a month ago. I don't think the old one would've stood up to the rain and wind we have had!

Awww Lisa, thank you for "giving me permission" to do what I want, rather than what I ought!! Christmas is definitely not therapeutic for me, and the album about my Dad certainly is! I'm really glad I took the plunge and broke into the Tattered Time paper stack as it's proving a joy to work with, and hopefully with an even more beautiful product at the end than a stack of paper lol!

What an absolutely gorgeous house warming present for your mother in law! I bet she will be thrilled with it. It's beautiful. You are certainly busy!
